That’s Han’s “bespin” styled blaster I believe you see pictures there. I know it’s the hoth base set but the only place you actually see the “Hoth” styled blaster is when filming moved to Norway. It’s a strange world back in the late 70’s early 80’s where they seem to not have cared to much about prop continuity.

Here is excellent find and shared with me by roymanns. Very cool and gracious of you!! Apparently back in 09 Al Roker dressed as Solo himself for their Halloween special and was granted use of an actual LucasFilm screen used prop. Take a look...

Probably long since fallen off... just like the mystery knob!

Grips are painted black like when on display at that show in Japan. The grips look brown in ESB.

My reply was directed at the "Bespin" hero blaster, which definately is/ was a live C96, just like Luke´s "Bespin" DL44.
Trigger shape, hammer, rear sights and finish are identification marks.

The "knob" on the holstered blaster (post #1039) is looking exactly like the regular thumbscrew (you can even see the small setscrew in it), so it is most likely the Bespin instead of the Hoth DL44...otherwise the "knob" would also sit MUCH higher on the mount.

The weathering leads me to my guess, that this is Luke´s Bespin blaster in Han´s holster in this Hoth scenery
