DL-44 ESB Blaster Discussion - Greeblies POST 208

Don't want to sound rude, but I recommend to reread the whole thread...all informations are posted including pictures of the blaster variations. To give you an idea... slightly Different scope mount, different weathering, different safety -> different blasters ;)

Perhaps I could make a chart on what goes where on. Which blaster?

this thread pretty much covers it. I'm still knew to the DL-44 but have learned allot these past 7-8 months. take a few minutes and re read this thread, and also read boba debts run thread, he has many great pictures of the difference in brackets

as for the han live fire ( shooting vader) i still think thats han's dl-44. i think thats paint we are seeing at the bottom of the light socket, let me see if i can dig up that picture

I was just thinking perhaps it would be a easier reference for newbs rather then digging through the whole thread.

Is anyone planning on painting the muzzle on their Solo Hoth Blaster silver in order to better match the real prop?

I'm going to paint mine. Rustoleum makes a flat silver paint that I think will be a very good match to the Hoth hider. I almost went with the no knurls on the hider so I could pencil them in, but decided to go with the two bands instead. Still wondering if I made the right choice . . . . .

So the Bespin Han has the moto coil, cut up moto coils, and no piston. Is that correct? Or does no one really know?

you still didn´t read through this thread, right ;) ?!

For a start ...check post #210 for the Luke Bespin and the Han Hoth detailing

Markus isn't trying to be a dick. But as I know you want a quick answer, but we've already answered these questions many times over. Read the thread.

Nutshell version: the thread tells you that the only version with Pistons is the hoth. The others don't have Pistons. The other two are REAL mausers. The hoth isn't.

Yeah, not trying to be a dick, but I read the thread last night. Both of them. I said it had no pistons in the post above.

I wasn't going for a comprehensive differences post between the two. Perhaps I was unclear in the above post I was only asking for verification on the left side greebles on the Han Bespin were correct, because it seemed that nobody was dead on sure that those were indeed the legit details.

To be comprehensive this is what I got.

Bespin Luke:
Real Mauser
Hole in safety
Distributor part above the trigger
No pistons
Notched ring M19
Large front scope bolt

Bespin Han:
Real Mauser
No pistons
Moto coil
Cut up Moto coil above trigger
Possible hex bolt
Full ring M19
Normal scope bolts

^ I don't believe so but many think so. the weathering on the bracket doesn't match Luke's, BUT it looks like the light socket has a notch in it..

Thanks for helping me with my reputation Scott...it´s appreciated :lol

And thanks for answering aquarius´ question on "our behalf" ;) I admit, that I am not like Sym-Cha, who seems to have an infinite amount of patience, answering lightsaber related questions over and over and over and over.... again :)
But I am no *** either for expecting people to do their homework first. The info is out there, since many of us have done all of the legwork! Now it´s just part of reading it.

Oh awesome! Does that work with the guns themselves too? (Solid Denixes)

This was in regard to using aluminum black...my iPod deleted my auto quote...
