Disney wants more 'Star Wars' in its theme parks

They should redo Galaxy's edge, the Galactic Starcruiser and every SW themed ride in the parks to take place entirely during the OT for a year or even just a season. Would be a great idea to do to coincide with the 40th anniversary of ROTJ.
That would be Amazing!
Or dedicate a whole New Park to SW.. Florida has oodles of flats to potentially build on or Build over Dollyland Ha!..
Full size Hangers
Full size Mos Eisley
Dagoba Force Training
Hoth battles
Full emersion role playing like I said before with Secret Cinema we met Luke Skywalker, we miss fead Boba information about Solo...he came back looking for us with a garrison!..
We escaped but our friends were locked in a detention cell. We met Jawas who tried to obviously stiff us in a trade, we went to the Beru family homestead,we even drank cocktails and bumped into solo chewbacca in the Cantina and ended up on the Deathstar!
If a small company in the UK can put on this kind of event....then Disney sure as hell can.

And that was only a six hour event with us watching SW at the end..
Oh then we went to a decent SW themed disco till 3am.. All in house.
I guess the thing was everyone got involved..I didn't see many passive guests and Everyone had costumes.. we were Jedi of course.

they could do a 4 month rotation between pt, ot, st. I mean it's star wars, the wardrobe is basically what tells you what time period your in.

How does exactly would dating work in these "D" planned communities?

Q: "You seem like such a genuine person and I'm so happy that we've met. I've really enjoyed our conversations over the last 8 months and feel like we have a real connection. Would you like to go out for a drink?"

A: "Well I'm a cast member and all of our interaction was fake. I guess I did my job a bit too well. But I can continue to pretend to like you within the confines of my role. Had we met in the real world and I actually cared for you it would be different. I would say "when you wish upon a star" but that would give you hope which sadly there isn't. Have a nice day and Hakuna Matata!"

That secret cinema event sounds like a good time.

I wish they had done more SW related..the idea was I believe to do the whole trilogy but they Also did other classics..
We went to Dr Strangelove which was a War room plus conspiracy theories thrown in which guests were encouraged to bring to the party..as it were.. I made a dosier on Russian Himan Ape hybrid soldiers..to my amazement they took my idea and wove it into the experience...we do like a good bit of role play.
They also did BladeRunner Twenty Eight days later and Moulin Rouge..

It was very affordable too VIP were around $100 with all the perks or started around $65 which is pretty cheap for a 6 hour event and a movie and disco..

I’m watching the video Ordinary Adventures posted on YT and a lot of it looks like fun, if I could then go home at the end of the day. Make an adjacent bank of exclusive hotel rooms for the most spendy guests, but let me drop into the ship for a day and play. I would happily pay more than the price of a park ticket to go do this every so often.
I really like them, the only thing is they are always over positive about everything.

I haven’t really seen one negative thing said from those who got in for free…

I heard rumors they will be face lifting the place, changing a few ships, and adding a speeding bike ride next. Going with a mando theme

I don’t know how true it is, but I can see them doing it

I think you would convince yourself you loved it if you went there, in order to justify the price. Alternatively, you may hate it based on the exorbitant price if you don’t go. It does look better now than that awful commercial that they immediately took down. This is such a polarizing topic due to the cost.
Bingo

They’re definitely generally positive, but I do appreciate that their walkthrough wasn’t really a review beyond the food. Also Peter made sure to stress that they were invited media but not sponsored or “hosted” media which means they still paid for themselves.

TheDIS had a ~3 hour video throughout the whole experience which has a lot of indicators as to why it’s not really for me. Their trip was a sponsored/hosted trip so they kept things objective and just kind of observed the events going on within the ship, as well as physically highlighting the features.

I love them as a couple, he was so anxious that he was missing stuff I found it funny, though it really wasn’t funny at all I can relate with anxiety

Have you ever seen the video where he accidentally drives the r2 off the table, omg the wife gives him the death stare lol

Wicked awesome people, I watch all their videos

Molly, that does YouTube videos on Disney (can’t remember the channel name), said that one complaint she had was if a crew person gathered a handful of people for something, literally everyone in the area tried to participate or come over to observe. So instead of small personal missions that were supposed to be secret, it was a large group that tried to put themselves into the action.

I’ve seen a few people doing the code breaking stuff too, which seams cool, but on Batuu, they really don’t want to walk back and forth that much. They have to cross that area of the park several times, and they just don’t like that. Molly also said it was jarring to see so many people in costume and then go in the park and see so many regular people, LOL.

For the Batuu stuff, it kind of makes me wish they’d close it off at like 8pm, and only have it open during the late evenings to the hotel guests. It would further insulate the suspension of disbelief.

If you find the video please share it here I’m curious
