Disney wants more 'Star Wars' in its theme parks

I think you mean Firespray Perfume.

Watching the finale video that Ordinary Adventures put up has me more than convinced that the idea and execution of this fake cruise are really cool, just not $6,000 cool. Stretch it out closer to a full week with some more story content as well some regular cruise activities like a pool it would be more worth the money. And if I did all of sudden come into $6,000 to spare and decided that this would be a good way to spend this money, I'd probably end up pissing off my wife because I've seen at least 2 moments to be a smart arse. There was one part where everybody was yelling, "It's mine!" or something like that; after a while, I think I'd be yelling, "I'm Spartacus!". Then later, one of the cast members was stealing and hiding something that's metal cased with blue lights on it. If I were there and saw that, I'd be very sorely tempted to yell, "It's a bomb!" or something like that.

Given the nature of this forum, I'm rather surprised that there haven't been more comments about props or costumes seen in these review videos that people would want to reproduce. I'd think that some here would be contemplating spending the money just to get close up pictures of some of the props and costumes, or at least ask others to do it for them.

Riceball in regards to the costumes and props, I just honestly don’t think any of it looks very interesting to me. It all feels very “SPACE CONFLICT” dollar store Star Wars. The best thing I will admit I was impressed with is the Rodian actor. That mask is awesome and they didn’t even have an emoting Rodian in BOBF so it’s cool to see them do it for a hotel in a live setting.

I'd say that's fair, it is supposed to a cruise ship, can't say that I've ever gone on a cruise and had been particularly inspired by their uniforms. Except for one ship, forget which line it was on, where they had what appeared to Gurkhas as their security personnel. Their uniforms were the standard white uniforms you see on pretty much every cruise ship but on their epaulets they had kukri knives embroidered on them to indicate that they were Gurkha security.

Yeah I'm thinking the same thing for some reason...

Easily the best looking designed character there..
The First order guy looks cool but comes off as a Pantomime villan.

If they opened a custom tailor shop where you could get custom fitted for let's say a Jedi costume/Trooper/Vader costume made using 100% screen accurate patterns/armor/props. How many people would book a ticket now?
I think most of us here would be super excited for this but we are hard core adult Star Wars fans. Disney caters to the casual fan with children and money to burn. As a result, we will never see this. Most of my friends LIKE Star Wars but don’t buy for themselves- they buy sabers, droids, etc for their kids. (Which is also why I really appreciate you guys and gals.)

No Pinacoladas for you then Sir... or is there a work round..
I thought you were joking in that other post.. my wife is allergic to Sesame and pine nuts..
Drives me crazy as its in pretty much Everything oil based..
Naah believe it or not I’m allergic to a ton of stuff.. I went for testing about 6 years ago.. I also learned im deathly allergic to cockroaches, no joke lol

Apparently they leave behind a dust? My skin had a extremely bad reaction to it, I’ve never encountered them in the wild.. but when I went for testing they hit me with everything they got

Lol who would have thought people are allergic to cockroaches lol

After the final Ordinary Adventures video I was left a little blah…

It seems like an exaggerated dinner show. As others have said, the ticket price is not worth the value of what you get.

I’ll put the 6k towards a used car for my daughter.
You and I are in the same boat, sure is a lot of money that could be put down on a vehicle which I desperately need right now

I know I’ve said it before but ordinary adventures I’m a huge fan of.. I can’t say they are acting or hyping it up because they are generally super excited about Star Wars and Galaxys edge

You can actually see how stressed out peter is because his journey experience hasn’t started yet lol

I love that couple.. I’m wicked curious to see “finding the force”s opinion.. that’s the father son team, and the father doesn’t hold back and calls out Disney all the time

If they come back 100% positive, then I know Disney is holding all these YouTubers at gun poi… lightsaber point

Others have reported.. it seems like the 5/6k price tag is the lowest price option…

There are rumors that there are so many up charges.. something about you can’t even see it on the website until after you put your credit card info in..

With a weekend cabin costing close to 12,000 bucks.. these 5/6k prices are during the week

Also certain things like when you sit at the cafeteria you can sit at larger tables for 30 plus more dollars, which I’m guessing are closer to the dance stage..

Also 100 dollar charge for a personal photographer who will clear out a room for 30 minutes and take photos of you in that one area..

Sounds like the 6k price tag doesn’t include everything these YouTubers are experiencing…

Just not enough public info yet and the rumors and stories are flying around

Drunk3po is chewing this up, looks like everyone is jumping ship on their preorder.. the month of July is basically all open.. when it was fully booked last month

I like ordinary adventures quite a bit. They’re fun to watch. I’ll check out their live stream on Saturdays from time to time. The other week I sat through the whole thing while I was doing the final edits on my upcoming books. I’ve never heard about the other one, the channel with the guy and his son that you were talking about. I’ll check them out. Thanks for recommending them.
