Disney wants more 'Star Wars' in its theme parks

The problem with offering more to do is that there just isn't time for much more. You only get 1 full day at the hotel, On your first day you get there around lunch time and most of your time is spent checking in, getting settled in, and so on. The second day is your only full day and it's when you got to Galaxy's Edge for part of that day. The next day you're checking out shortly after breakfast and you're done. So there really isn't any time for a whole lot more, nothing of substance at least.
I just listened to a two hour podcast on the whole rundown..
No spoilers but if it was cheaper I think I might be tempted but why are they soooo insistent on using Kylo and Rey in everything..

Maybe they will theme it with different stories and legacy characters..Heck even Mando and Boba would be pretty darn cool..

I think that depends on how generous or cheap they're being. Normally, on a cruise, for dinner you get several courses starting with an appetizer, then maybe soup or salad, your main course, and then dessert. And if you're still hungry after that, you can always get a second dessert or other another main course, but generally, the portions are good enough that this is not necessary. But who knows just how far Disney is going to take the cruise theme, with the way they like to nickel and dime guests these days, I imagine that they'd probably allow you to order more but for a fee,
Apparently you never go hungry and plenty of food options to keep you a happy Bunny...
I wonder if they cater for people with allergies or a plant based diet ?

Alot of guests when doing day 2 in batu are being confused for staff

One YouTuber was asked for help 7 times in 30 minutes lol
I know exactly how annoying that is. I wear a tie to work, if I stop in to target on the way home to pick something up, I usually get asked three or four times in a half hour where something is.

One time when I was in a particularly dour mood and the fifth person in 20 minutes asked me where something was I finally broke down and asked them,

“Seriously, the Target employees wear RED SHIRTS! How many employees have you ever seen working here wearing a tie?

Think about it, every time you come here they are wearing red shirts. Walmart wears blue shirts! Home Depot wears orange smocks, Lowes wears, well I can’t remember what they wear, but it’s not a suit and tie!”

I was so glad that my wife and daughter were not with me that day!

I would’ve gotten another 45 minute lecture about being patient!

My proposal was completely scrap the idea and just make a regular hotel experience like a jedi temple where there is a ton of entertainment inside the hotel that you can do at your own pace (light saber training, force training, workouts, flight training, etc.). Another youtuber apparently proposed jedi and sith temples but probably follows the same premise.

In its current iteration, maybe at least double the length to 4 days to not keep the schedule so jumbled. 1.5 days to LARP with the cast with down time to rest and strategize, 2 days to then just relax and visit the parks/restaurants, etc.

It sounds like there is alot of content from what ive heard with multiple storylines, quests, etc but it would suck of you wanted to quest with Rey but cant because she is busy with another group, especially if this is a repeat trip. Spacing things out so multiple groups can breath and engage in the storylines would provide a more entertaining experience imo (although the high price point may prevent this since not many people will engage). Also, apparently the majority of storylines play out in the evening with the morning/day spent out in the park. Expanding to 4 days could have the same concurrent storylines play out in the day and night so more people can experience the various storylines and choose which conclusions they want to follow (give some credits to the spy or officer or whatever).

Also could easily make this a very enjoyable repeat engagement by lowering the price point a little and developing new storylines. An international sabacc tournament with bounty hunters, hunting for younglings (side with order or jedi), etc. make these time limited so the hardcore fans will repeatedly visit to try out the new storylines.

By making it into 4 says, you can then also just sell the LARP experience for 2 days, 2 day stay in the ship with access to the park, or the full experience for 4 days, with adjusted price points, in a sense transforming the ship into its own Disney attraction.

They theme it that way because Disney sees the ST as the future of Star Wars, at least for now. Despite the negativity, you see here and in other social media, to most younger fans Star Wars is the ST to them. And while there are plenty of adults spending money on Star Wars for themselves, there's probably lots more kids getting their parents and relatives to buy them ST themed Star Wars merch and this is who Disney is banking on, at least for their mass market products. I imagine that Disney is not just counting on adult Starr Wars fans who like the ST to go to this fake cruise of theirs but also kids to drag their parents to this, and with many parents these days who don't understand or know how to say no to their kids, there will be plenty of people going. Whether it's enough to make this endeavor profitable, it's hard to say. $6,000 is still a lot of money and there might actually be parents out there who normally can't say no to their kids who will finally learn how to say no when saying yes is going to hit their bank accounts that hard.

I know some the fifties style dinner in Downtown Disney does so hopefully as I'm Galaxy Edging this year hopefully..
From what I saw in one of the videos you can inquire about allergy friendly options. This was for their boxed breakfasts to go which had no labels on them regarding what their ingredients were. I'd imagine that for regular meals any possible allergens or allergy friendly options would either be marked in the menu or the servers would know which ones are and are not if asked.

Sales for ST merch has only dwindled and while Lucasfilm may be trying to push those characters and their merchandise along, they just don't sell nearly as well as Mando and Grogu and all of the Disney+ stuff. Granted these things have been in development for years so I can understand that they wouldn't be able change course mid release of the cruise opening but still it's a huge risk for them to keep banking on the things fans don't respond as strongly to. Mando stuff sells. ST stuff doesn't. The future of Star Wars is wherever the money leads.

I'm sure at some point they're going to add more Mando related merchandise and features into the parks because the sales on those things have skyrocketed. I know Disney is banking on the ST carrying them forward but the sales aren't strong enough. Regardless of my feelings on the matter, if I'm looking at it objectively, people love Mando and Grogu and baby Yoda makes bank. That's why they had to bring the two in to save Boba Fett from his own show.

I am allergic to pineapple, of course blue milk has it in it.. when we were in the cantina I informed the server and another guy came out with a ipad and went through each drink with me and it’s ingredients with pictures. Wish I had the GoPro going because I could have had the whole list of ingredients for all their drinks

They were very concerned and very helpful selecting safe beverages for me

I bought the Starcruiser comic over the weekend, and it didn’t make me feel any motivation to buy into this hotel anymore than before. It jumped around the eras a bit too much for me.

The weird thing is, I also picked up the Galaxy’s Edge trade and read most of it, and it did the same exact thing. It bounced around timelines and flashbacks and stuff every other page.

It felt like the author(a) suffered from ADHD

I think you mean Firespray Perfume.
