Disney wants more 'Star Wars' in its theme parks

I’ve never been on a cruise, so does anyone know if that’s what it is supposed to resemble, a cruise cafeteria? All I could picture was a Navy mess hall.

The lobby and the bridge do look very cool and the dedicated entrance to Galaxy’s Edge was an excellent idea. Jodo ’s idea of access to the park after hours for hotel guests is perfect. Our family did an after hours Disneyworld holiday experience in December and it was awesome. We paid a bit more but there was maybe 1/5 the normal amount of people and we rode the rides with no wait at all. They also had no limit complimentary snacks (cookies, popcorn, ice cream and hot chocolate)!

For $6,000, you and your family can get trapped inside a bunker, entertained by aliens, get yelled at by Captain Karen, eat weird food, and then be transported to an amusement park in the back of a Uhaul.

For $60, I can do some mushrooms and experience all of that from the my own sofa.
True Story

You don’t even get a full day in the park.. one of the coolest things was all the lights at night.. 4pm back looked up in the factory.. I mean cruise ship
I was looking at the Cruise costumes..Less SW more Target..

Maybe its to not confuse the other visitors with the whole costume thing ?
I remember being on the Hollywood VIP tour not too long back and felt like cattle being headed through the park, I can see this happening at Disney too..
There's a certain Gaup factor from regular visitors to the park.

Alot of guests when doing day 2 in batu are being confused for staff

One YouTuber was asked for help 7 times in 30 minutes lol

Lots have talk about the rooms and food but it really needs more interactivity and just things to do..
You can have a lot of very different life experiences for 6k elsewhere and prolly much more fun too..

Heck I bet a group of us in our various guises could organise a Wicked experience for far less and go away very happy indeed..
A bit like playing War games as kids but much better..
Hire out a suitable warehouse abandoned unit etc..
Air soft/nerf guns
CCTV type SW themed escape rooms the options are endless..
I've seen a few very cool SW themed Cantina bars..
The problem with offering more to do is that there just isn't time for much more. You only get 1 full day at the hotel, On your first day you get there around lunch time and most of your time is spent checking in, getting settled in, and so on. The second day is your only full day and it's when you got to Galaxy's Edge for part of that day. The next day you're checking out shortly after breakfast and you're done. So there really isn't any time for a whole lot more, nothing of substance at least.

I like my food even the mains looks like a starter to me...but I like big portions..or is it 5 star dinning..
I wouldn't want to be Hangry...
You wouldn't like me when I'm hangry! Lol...
I think that depends on how generous or cheap they're being. Normally, on a cruise, for dinner you get several courses starting with an appetizer, then maybe soup or salad, your main course, and then dessert. And if you're still hungry after that, you can always get a second dessert or other another main course, but generally, the portions are good enough that this is not necessary. But who knows just how far Disney is going to take the cruise theme, with the way they like to nickel and dime guests these days, I imagine that they'd probably allow you to order more but for a fee,
