I have the hasbro version. I think it’s actually thicker than the Disney parks. Does anyone own both and can do a side-by-side comparison?

No... Nor will I, since I will have the Disney only

But...

I am very impressed that the Graflex replica I have is only a couple mm less in diameter (I said circumference earlier) than the Disney prop.

Or reversed, am impressed the Disney is just BARELY fatter...

Don’t give up hope just yet. I passed on the C3 PO head and it went out of stock. A few months later, it was back.

FYI: this was the Rey TFA Galaxy’s Edge hilt. They retired it a few years back but brought it back as a Skywalker Legacy box set (hilt, hook, stand, blade). So it was not attempting to replicate the The Empire Strikes Back version which typically is associated with the extra red button underneath in place of the glass eye.

Has anyone tried replacing the glass eye with an additional red button? I have an extra somewhere...

At first glance, the glass eye does not appear to be (easily) removable...

Strider/Aragorn build

I’ve undertaken the overwhelming task of putting together Aragorns ranger outfit. I’m wanting to make as much of this myself with three things in mind accuracy, functionality and authenticity. I’m not aiming for 100% accuracy, more like 90% just so I don’t drive myself crazy with details...

Let’s not give up hope, but that’s not exactly correct. The C3-PO heads went out of stock in a couple of days and by the end of the week they were back. Since then they haven’t been difficult to find at all. The Mouse droid only came up once and sold out in nine minutes. Since then they haven’t been available.

Trust me I was right in there. I wanted to get a few but between my wife and I we were only able to get two, when I went in for number three they were gone.

Yes, they honestly did go fast. I got mine because even though I was in the queue at the beginning, it still took me 5 minutes to get in. I was able to snag mine. But it was only a few minutes later and people were reporting they were sold out.
