They look rather big compared to trooper feet

I checked the Stormtrooper following it, or trying to get around it when the Falcon gets pulled into the Death Start scene.

IDK. Seems a bit big, but still rocks.

Very hard to tell.

Any Mouse Droid Experts out there????

I don’t know if this is the case and I don’t know anything about mouse droids other that I know people tend to be surprised how big they actually are but… I think you have to remember that as more and more movie and shows go into production, more and more these production teams are tasked with recreating iconic items from previous productions long ago, with that, the recreations may be spot on or basted on artist interpretation, or limited data, or any other factors purpose or accidental, these items will vary from production to production. I mean come on, aren’t there like 6 or 7 Han Blaster variants in the 3 OT movies?

Anyhow… what I believe is that a lot of OT replica items that gets made by Hasbro and Disney these days are replicated from items made from recent productions. Like for instance, the T-16 that was released last year at the parks was not made using references from A New Hope, it most likely utilized the prop from a Obi Wan which was most likely in itself based on a lot of research. I think a lot of the OT helmets released are actually based a lot on recent production recreations because they the items or 3D scans of the items are readily available. I feel that may be possibly same case with this mouse droid. If it turns out to be slightly larger than an OT mouse droid, it might be spot on to a later production screen used piece.

Agreed.

Which is totally cool with me. I love this thing, and if it is a bit bigger maybe the Empire made different size models.

I am just amazed the actual prop is so much bigger then I ever knew.

Ive been thinking it’s bigger than the original prop. Jaymig posted the specs compared to his build, which seems consistent with the build plans from the Mouse Droid builders group. Its slightly longer and wider than the plans. By like an inch or so on both. So unless someone has measurements from the original prop its even possible those bigger specs could be accurate. Its close enough. Its the three extra inches of height that seems to make feel a lot bigger. It makes sense they would raise it a bit and prioritize mobility.

The scale of the pieces also seems quite a bit larger. Idk. I was really excited to get this because Ive wanted to build a MSE droid for awhile, but the larger size has really dampened my excitement. I may sell it at some point to fund a MSE droid build once I can locate all the pieces.

I'm guessing none of you saw the Droid at the MoM or other exhibits.
Or didn't pay attention to it.

It is larger than it seems on screen.

Even knowing the general size, we still have the idea in our head of a MSE droid as being “small”, so it’s surprising. I feel like its the same with most droids. I felt the same way with the probe droid. That thing is massive irl. Heck, I’ve had vacuformed MSE shells in my garage and it still caught me off guard when opening it. However, its not the general size I am questioning, Im more curious on the exact dimensions compared to screen used. Though I don’t know that anyone has perfect numbers.

That looks pretty big. Maybe ours IS to scale. Unfortunately, unless someone put a tape measure next to screen used one we may never know.
On a side note, I just noticed these in the first season of Andor :)

Good news for those of us who want to remove it lol.

Figured out why the greeblies on top of the Mouse Droid are a bit wobbly, for some reason the whole assemblies are on springs and can push down into the body.
