Honestly? I'm ok with that. I used to have a problem with the proliferation of the brand on any old piece of junk out there, but (A) I eventually remembered that it was like that when I was a kid (e.g., Star Wars crappy elastic belts), and (B) I finally just got to a point where I didn't NEED them making any new content for me. I mean, I'd love it if they did, but if not, no biggie. The only thing I really want from Star Wars anymore, is the Star Wars I grew up with. I'd even be delighted to pay for a mega box set that collects the prequels, the SEs, and the restored OOTs...just for the restored OOTs. That's all I want anymore. Just that. And I think Disney recognizes there's a market out there for it -- a market in it's early 30s to mid 40s, with disposable income, that WANTS this product. Without the emotional tie to "my stories" that Lucas had, I expect Disney will get to work on it. Then the only question will be whether they do a good job.
