Dexter's Kill Bag and Tools

Super quick, insanely small comparison.

The back side may need to be thinned slightly in order to get the awkward, unsmooth transition seen on the original.

looks good dude but remember the actual knife does not have such smooth curves meaning the inside of the blade looks a little offset as far as the curvness goes.

I literally traced the shape of the blade from this shot:

which is only slightly off from being completely perpendicular/flat/whatever you wanna call it. I still think the blade has a little more curve to it than that.

ok sounds good I think your on the right path pinder I figured I'de just shoot my opinion but I'm really not that good with this stuff anyway.I don't think we will get it EXACT but we just need to get it as close as possible so whatever you think is closest let's do it.

Who the hell will notice the difference anyway unless there's crazy people like ourselves dissecting it :lol

I agree guys. Whatever he gets the closest, let's do it! So close now...

I'm just happy we found everything. As long as it looks good and is in scale length wise, I don't think it will matter much.

Hey guys, I've been reviewing this entire thread quite a few times, and I have to say, Great Job on finding all of this stuff. I want to start collecting my own kill tools set soon, and I'm starting with the elusive kill bag. Anyway, I was curious about the bag that Dark Passenger and Pitbull mentioned a while back:
How do you guys CUT off the flap? Is there like a methodical way of doing it? Does it just come off easily? Or do you just hack at it with Dexter's cleaver?

About the more recent stuff, how do I get the global spatula cut into the same shape as pinder is doing? Is there going to be like a run of them?
Thanks

I'm glad there are so many people taking an interest in this. Anyone else planning on getting there own set besides myself and Pitbull?

@Dexter69- I cut the flap off of my new Messermeister bag with the white logo and light blue line. I still have the flap on my original bag. All I used was a pair of heavy scissors to do it. I tried out the cut bag with the knives in it but it is clanky. I'm not sure how well it works on the show like that.

I definitely want to start a full kill bag. Got to pace myself though. Family to feed. just got the henley, and the gloves are on their way.

I know the correct bag is really hard to find but how close is the current bag? Besides the different color label (and font) and the lighter stripe, are the materials and design the same?

where can I get one?

The current bag is very close, it isn't really a huge deal. The older style bags are made with better material and it feels softer making it roll up better. The material is also more shiny.
The new bags feel a little stiffer, but other then the logo with light blue line and the handles being centered, they are the same measurements and design.

Hey DarkPassenger, thanks for answering my question, definitely helped me out. I'm definitely starting my kill tools set as soon as my kill bag gets here. One more question though: A while back, you guys were talking about Jimmy's Blood Slide Box's? I assumed these were like the real deal wooden slide boxes that they use on Dexter. Can you point me in the right direction so I can buy it? Thanks again.

Send GeneralFrosty a message, he's a great guy and made the boxes for the show starting in season 5. He's the guy to talk to if you want a slide box.
