Double post, but an update. I've included the dented tang on the rear side of the knife. Take a look:

I'm still waiting to see if we can confirm the small offset between the edge of the blade and the rest of the tang.

I may work up a version of my file with the offset, just in case.

EDIT: Just finished working on it:

So, these are the current two contenders. Any opinions? (As I cringe, awaiting the pedantry I love so much :p )

Thanks, I have got to give credit to Franz's sharp eyes...especially for the way the tang recedes before the smaller cutout.

I'm still not sure if I'm convinced that the real knife has its sharpened edge set back from the handle, but I must say, looking at it, it certainly looks more balanced/cooler.

Take a look and choose your pick. (There can only be one winner)

(The sole difference is marked with an arrow)

My personal vote now goes towards what I'm calling the Double Bump Tang Knife (#2) over the Single Bump Tang. (#1)

Chime in, though and let me know which you think is more accurate/prefer.

Franz, what do you think?

I say #2 for sure but I have another question. The inner line on the blade should be wrapped around the whole knife not cut off like in the drawing

I just got my Kill Tool Bag from cutleryandmore. Same thing Pitbull, white logo. I guess it's no big deal, everything else is the same. Thanks for the heads up.

This image shows how the bevel terminates very well.

as you see in this picture of the second knife shot where you have the line ending by the corner of your drawing it clearly shows the line continuing and not cutting off

see your line is cutting off just don't look right

Looking at this picture it looks to be very slight, but still there.

If you're going by the glint of the metal along the edge, note that the same edge-glint can be seen on the tang in the cut-out area on the back of the knife.

I can guarantee you they wouldn't have had a sharpened tang where someone's hand is, and since it looks identical to the blade itself, I say that picture shows no signs of an edge on the back.

Pitbull, that's the roundness of the edge. I have throwing knives that have the same look. The back of the blade is rounded slightly and not a 90 degree edge.

#2 looks the best. :thumbsup Maybe idealize the knife a bit to fix the gap on the back.

Very good points. I think you're right about the back edge.

I thought of that, but after spending two straight days pouring over every excruciating detail, finding that detail, and adding it...well, I'm just a little weary. :lol

The only thing I could think of is that the gap might actually be a clue to the origin of the blade blank. (If they did, perhaps, use a standard off the shelf blank)

I'll do whatever the consensus is, but I think the #2 is a damn near perfect representation of the knife now...unless someone has some secret images of the knives that can finally lay all of these details to rest.

Until then, I'm going to nap...I was up all night designing this knife. haha

TheNickFox, I hope you don't mind, but I altered one of your images to highlight some things that I am seeing since you already have them posted. My eyes are killing me too, but thankfully this is not as bad as the Joker shirt pattern I did that Magnoli uses. That almost made me blind!

The back edge of the blade and tang appear to be very slighty radiused. I'm assuming this is for safety on set as well as comfort for those handling the knife. I am going to also assume that the front edge of the exposed tang is radiused as well, but have found few images to prove it. Thoughts?

Also, where the ground edge starts at the hilt looks more, to me, like what I changed, just like on your V1. Again, thoughts. Edit: now that I stared some more its looking like how you originally had it.
