what about just pricking your finger with a pin? or if you are squeamish "ben nye" makes several different fx blood supplies, including thick mouth blood and "fresh scab" which is like a thick blood gel or paste that looks pretty realisistic, even when thin

Yeah i am still working on the shading of the blood, darker red/black coloured for older blood trophies and brighter red for more recent trophies. Finally got the box issue sorted, hinges and latch re-arranged, just need touch up from where the previous fittings were.

Finally found a decent blood sub, Mehron Dark Stage blood (venous type). It has a darker cloudy colour like real blood from a pin prick, plus after a few days of drying it appears to be a darker shade (almost the same shade as in the pics shown here of the real dexter box). £5.50 on ebay, bargin!!!

Michael C Collectibles makes the boxes for the show as of season 5. He also sells them. Just google his name. I got mine for $190 but I believe they've gone up.

NECRO POST!!! I've been looking for an accurate box recently and the cheap ones don't look accurate enough to me and the awesome replicas that were out there are no longer available. Any help would be appreciated.
