Dexter

Question, so Matthews first name is Thomas....but on his season 4 ID's that pitbull got it says Robert, do we know anything about that? even in this link: Thomas Matthews - Dexter Wiki
it shows nothing about "Robert" under his Full Name or Aliases

its clear with the little help i've provided Im definitely interested. Just curious, thats not a PVC DL, its laminated, but how to you laminate it with out it having edges of the laminate on the outside showing and it not be flush around the DL?

And no one knows why Matthews ID says his first name is Robert? just curious since we have never heard him called that.

just wanted to double check in the prop thread for a link to the ID badge holder? rbeato thanks for your response in the other thread!

I am totally interested in Dexter's driver's license. Will you be selling the file or actual replica licenses?

If everything goes well then I would like to do a run of actual replica licenses. When I get the design completely done then I will ask around the forum the best way of doing this, I remember seeing National Treasure and Superbad licenses done before.

Here is my progress on the license,

... and once again the reference photo

Sorry for the watermark and small size, I just don't want anyone else profitting off my work. The file I am working off of is 3x bigger and 300 dpi which will look outstanding when printed. The 2 XXs in the numbers are the ones that Travis' thumb is blocking, they will be changed later.

awesome man, you have that link i posted that has the top of the drivers license and the back of it as well so if you add the top in it will look even better, and hopefully once the background photo is found not so blurry it will be awesome.....now for those 2 numbers...ooo i am excited for this.

Thanks a lot! I did see the link and it does help but I am going to re-draw it because my work photo is huge and I can't blow it up without it being extremely blurry. Also the "The Sunshine State" text is different on the Dexter license - different font and slightly overlapping the outline of Florida.

very understandable that if you blew it up that big it would be blurry, but i guess atleast its somewhat of a template, and atleast the link with the back will help. ahh if we only could get those 2 numbers and his signature. it doesn't seem to have a little photo faded into it like the real florida DL's does it?

It doesn't :lol No smaller background photo.:)

his height is no where near 6'4", and the apt #'s wrong as well as the DL# and it doesn't have that small pic where you have it placed, if indeed its on there at all

Calm down partner.:) I said I would finish it tomorrow...Remember...:lol

I worked 12 hours today in a factory doing man work I am a little tired.

But can't wait Great1 for you to finish it up, im starting season 2 tonight, season 1 did not have his signature or DL shown anywhere, so i'll keep watching to see if they pop up but from memory of how many time i've watched all the seasons i don't recall seeing either.

Looking at the laminate, it looks very "propish" to me.. meaning it looks like they printed it on a sticker, stuck on a card and put clear tape over it trimmed roughly at best.

I say this because that's how I did my Winchester licesnses and they look very similar on the edges.

As for the Matthews thing, I've searched every link I can find and NADA!
