Hi I'm also searching, for the exact doll! I'm in the UK and have ordered a similar Alysa doll, but with different hair I'd be happy to just get the correct head for the ultimate keychain gift!

The doll's name is Alysa. She was released by Integrity Toys back in 2004. This doll is part of the "Studio-It" series and the original box labels say "Janay and Friends" & "Fashion Fling".
I have researched this to the highest level of prop building and have spoken with people involved in DEXTER. they SWEAR this is the doll!

For 2010, the "CONFIDENT" doll can be used however, the lips are a different shade of red than in 2004.
The hair is slightly different and NOT as curly.

As mentioned in the title...

Has anyone determined which make/brand the doll from Dexter season 1 came from? (the one he finds in the fridge...and then makes the head into a key tag)

Any help is much appreciated.

It is from Integrity Toys - 2004 lineup. "Alysa" is her name.
She is now called "Confidential" in the 2010 lineup. Different colored lips and not as curly hair. I have made several "Ice Truck Killer" dolls now and they are 99.0% accurate.
The hand on the doll might not be the one used in the closeup on the show.
They might of used a different body or arm for that specific shot.

It was a "SECOND" idea. The HEADLESS ones come with the famous DEXTER blood splash! MY other ones I haven't finished yet but WAIT TILL YOU SEE 'EM! You can't really find Ice Truck Dolls any longer (very rare) so I decided to start making them.
