Anovos had two versions of the Shoretrooper. The original version was the wrong color and much less weathering. The second version was released in 2021. In the attached photo, the second version is on the left and the first version on the right. Both of these are from Anovos.

Is the concern with the DN Shoretrooper the weathering? From the images I have seen, I have not been impressed with the weathering on the DN.

I have not seen the DN AT-ACT helmet. The Anovos AT-ACT is not glossy like the helmet in Rogue One was. I don't think the DN version is either, but I have not seen one. Below is a screen shot from Rogue One.

I found the quality and accuracy of some details of the DN Shoretrooper worse than the Anovos. We know the visor is totally wrong on the DN and needs to be replaced to start with.

- The edge on the neck opening is painted black instead of beige like on the Anovos.
- The inner edge (on the one I received at least) where the fabric liner ends was really uneven and lumpy. Might have just been a bad casting.
- The vent greebles on the chin stick out too far on all the DN helmets I've seen and don't sit flush.
- On the inside of the helmet, behind the chin, it is hollow and covered in the liner. On the Anovos, the bottom was solid and painted.

I just found a DN AT-ACT on Facebook. Yeah, it's also painted flat white instead of glossy. It does have the same flat visor and vent greebles as the
DN Shoretrooper.

Anyone have the Denuo AT-ACT helmet? I was thinking of getting it, but want to know how to compares to the Anovos one. It looks like the product photos on the website are still of the Anovos.

I bought a used DN Shoretrooper on eBay a while back (arrived damaged so I returned it) and found it worse than the Anovos version in a number of ways.

So I wonder if it's better to try to find a used Anovos AT-ACT, if the DN one has all the same inferiorities as their Shoretrooper.

Be careful getting an Anovos AT-ACT helmet. I received one from them and it had a slight flaw in the paint where there was a bubble that had come off and left a small hole in the finish. In hindsight, I wished I had kept that version as outside of that minor flaw it was in perfect shape and a very nice helmet. Instead I contacted them and sent it back. After several months they sent me a new one. The box was in perfect shape, but the forehead visor of the helmet was completely caved in like someone put it in the box and pushed on it with their foot. I contacted them again and sent it back and that's when the nightmare began and I never received anything from them after that.

So even if you order one new in box and the box is in nice shape, there's no saying what the helmet will look like.

I got an answer last night too and also a shipping confirmation including a tracking number (Bo-Katan Helmet). Let's wait and see...

Yeah me too, but I had asked for a store credit as I have the EFX one. Then magically all of a sudden it's gets shipped......what are the odds. It gave me a shipping tracking number but it doesn't work

I agree with you about the sudden shipment of the helmet, because about an hour before I received my tracking info for the Concept Death Trooper I had sent an email inquiring about the Death Trooper Specialist that they told me I should be seeing shipping info on soon. It's been a week and a half since I was told that and nothing. I have a feeling something went wrong on their end and they're doing what they can to placate me.

In a way it has worked as I am excited to be getting the Concept version soon. My tracking # shows a Wednesday delivery and it is en route, so you may want to keep checking your tracking #. Could be it wasn't in the UPS system yet.

Same for me, ePost Tracking says "There was an error locating tracking number". It will probably just take a few more days until the tracking works.

I just received shipping notice with a UPS tracking # from Denuo Novo for the Death Trooper Specialist helmet. The weird thing is that it's scheduled to arrive on Wednesday, the same day the Concept Death Trooper helmet is due to arrive. Both of my tracking #s are working. Both are through UPS.

Sometimes it has taken about 3 weeks to get a response from them for me. They're not great at communication. They should really work on this since they're sitting in the shadows of Anovos and when you don't get a response it makes you feel like the Anovos fiasco is starting all over again.

I finally got an email with a tracking number. I also saw someone on FB get the same email, so it seems they're finally sending the Specialist out to more people.

I received the Patrol Trooper helmet. I haven't had time to open it yet.

I also got the Patrol Trooper helmet today and it is a beauty. I love how they adapted the original Stormtrooper style. I am hopeful that Denuo Novo releases the Rogue One version of the TK.

Both of my Death Trooper helmets should be arriving today.

UPDATE: Both show as "Out for delivery", so I'm getting anxious about them.

The Concept helmet has more sheen than I was expecting, but it's not bad and was done very well. It still has a worn look and it's not perfectly shiny like the Royal Guard helmets are. The thing is it could have scuffs that weren't supposed to be there and I wouldn't even know. This was packed inside a plastic bag and surrounded by foam. Nothing special for packing.

The Specialist helmet also came in a plastic bag, but no extra foam to pad it. Instead it had two huge zip ties going through the foam holding the helmet in place. There was also a special cross bar they created inside the helmet to wrap the zip ties through. It was really well done. Getting the cross bar out was a bit of a task, but it did come out.

The battery compartment is inside the helmet hidden behind the padding in the muzzle. There's a Velcro flap to flip back and it takes two AAA batteries. There are separate switches for the green and the white lights as you will see below. The green light will blind you if you look it straight on. It's super bright.

The only thing I find odd about this helmet is the grey vent areas and mouth piece are all weathered, yet the shell of the helmet is completely pristine shiny. That seems very unlikely to me in a real-world scenario. It still looks great.

No disappointment in either of these helmets. They're both gorgeous. I'd love to get the regular Death Trooper, but it just seems like a bad way to spend another $700 when the only difference is the lack of the light-up Neuro-Saav Macromotion Monitor and image intensifying active pulse emitters (Yes, I just looked that up).

The Patrol Trooper helmet is the last Anovos preorder of mine to be filled. When Anovos went away, I thought I just was out of luck and lost the money for those items. I really appreciate Denuo Novo for filling the Anovos Star Wars preorders. Denuo Novo hasn't been perfect, but this is pretty rare to have a company fulfill the orders of another company.

I seriously want that Patrol Trooper helmet now. I think it may have just moved to the top of my list.

I like the helmet. It has weathering kind of like a sandtrooper helmet. The helmet is sturdy fiberglass. The visor might be plastic. Some of the edges of the black paint are a little uneven but I think that is to be expected on sections that are hand painted. Plenty of OT helmets had uneven edges on painted sections. I have no idea how the actual Patrol Trooper helmet was constructed.
