I think it would be smarter to make the Rogue One stormtrooper helmet than the OT. There are plenty of options to buy the OT helmet that are honestly better than the Anovos was. There aren't many good options for the Rogue One style helmet. With The Mandalorian and Solo, they could make variations of the Rogue One helmet.

I'll be all about any fiberglass variation. I'm not an OT purist and any really nice looking bucket works for me.

That Jango helmet looks more promising than I originally expected it to.

I'll probably wait til their Black Friday sale to order it once it's in stock.

My only accuracy concern is the rear vent. If the interior liner covers up the inside of the vent, it'll be necessary for me to cut out that area of the liner. It should be a simple fix and replace the mesh screen if needed.

I'm glad they're doing a clean version of the Phase 2. No Rogue One TK, Mimban, or Patrol Trooper though. Interestingly they're bringing back the TFA Kylo. I'm glad they're doing the Specialist DT. That checks off another unreleased Anovos pre-order people will finally receive.

I mean, the Hasbro Black Series is based on the Rogue One version (even if the tube stripes need to be filled, recut more sharply, and backed with blue-anodized aluminum strip). If Hasbro does periodic re-releases, those should continue to be available for a hundred or two.

The Hasbro isn't bad, but it does need modifications for accuracy and to hide some of the toy features. I would prefer a more accurate prop replica.

They are shipping my Kylo helmet. We had a slight communication gap on my end as to when they should ship it so it had been on hold. I should have it in a week or so.

In the meantime, after about two weeks, I also received an answer that my helmet looked like it was supposed to.

Well my faceplate wasn’t mounted correctly but there was a shiny spot on it as well which distracted from the matte finish.

Hope they go back and make another run of the OT Snowtrooper helmet. My BBTS order got cancelled. It was $250 back then so I guess it’ll be $600 now if they make it. Also hope Sideshow eventually carries their products.

It was on their item list for Q4 2022. I used to have the Anovos OT Stormtrooper. I really do not recommend it. Go with RS Propmasters or any of the countless others available.

I was talking about the Snowtrooper. I do have the Anovos Stormtrooper helmet and the EFX PCR version. I prefer my helmets to be licensed also.

I emailed Denuo Novo if the interior lining on the Jango helmet will cover up the rear vents. They said it would, so I will need to cut out the lining where the rear vent is to make it more accurate.

I asked if they would consider offering an upgraded option in the future that includes the leather gasket and they unfortunately won't be. Nobody makes the gasket so that's kind of a bummer.

I received my replacement helmet today and I am very happy. The red paint pops more on this one than the first one I had.
The overall paint is more even as well. Denuo is doing a great job with their customer support.

Purchase date: June 1, 2016.
6 years later, things are FINALLY happening!

I got an email last week from DN saying:

"We see you have a Premium STAR WARS First Order Stormtrooper Kit on back-order. Denuo Novo will be sending you two shipments very soon. The first shipment will be the add-on accessories for the kit which includes gloves, boots and neck seal. Please reply to this email with your delivery address and the size you need for the gloves, boots and neck seal so we can ship your items. The Stormtrooper armor kit will then ship separately later this month. If you have a helmet ordered, that will be coming later in 2022. We will email you again later this year when your helmet is ready to ship."

So the armor will be coming later this month and then who knows when "later in 2022" means for the helmet.
But still, THIS IS EXCITING! THINGS ARE HAPPENING!

The Sabine helmet is now available for preorder. I'm curious how the patterns will be done. They haven't painted anything that complex before. The x-wing helmets are largely decals. Since the Sabine helmet is fiberglass, I assume it will be made in Texas, but that could be incorrect.
