Robo, I've seen your posts from before and you're a beast lol
my main question is I keep seeing people posting up that these builds are for thin to average builds. Does anyone know the general measurements that the upper torso would fit?
I'm terrible at scaling and I'm definitely of a more muscular build. I wanna know what I'm getting myself into before I start making parts of the armor only to find they don't fit :S I'm pretty slow at this since I'm just starting out with pepakura and reinforcing.

Hi mate i am also of a larger build and the beauty of foam if its easy the alter i made all my part to the scale it was set to apart from the helmet that i added 10% too then went from where the bit didnt fit or was tight like biceps chest abs and thighs i just cut the build piece down a seem and added in a panel to make it bigger and it turned out ok hope this helps

It would be nice if someone one helped me out on this. I got 3 questions
1. I've been using just plasti dip and dupli color and I forgot to add the adhesive promoter before the dupli color. Is it too late to add the adhesive promoter and just continue on with the build or is there still a chance to add the adhesive promoter?
2. Does the adhesive promoter help the color look accurate or does it help just keep the paint stick to the foam material?
3. Also I wanna give my suit a shine look to it. Should I try like a gloss/plastic coating?

1. yes its too late. the point of it is to get the color to stick to the surface better. no point in putting it on afterwards
2. adhesive promoterdoes not change anything about the color
3. clear coat will givea shiny look

Im not sure if someone has posted this already, but i moded Zabana'z HD boot for foam builds! there are kind of a lot of pieces but im guessing it will work still. i havnt made it yet, but mine should be done within a week or two so ill let you know if its good for foam build or not (im using 10 mm foam)

Msleeper, here is the foam I have been using. I bought some just to try it. I liked and have been using it. I found it at Michael's and it's 5mm i'd say. white or black. sorry for the delay, alot of crap going on.

Just wanted to say awesome work by everyone. Though I haven't posted much yet, this site has been a great inspiration to keep working on the project, and a big thanks to Stealth and Robo for creating these files.
The suit so far is almost though construction, and soon to be onto finish work. Here is the progress so far.
Its looks a bit stocky, (I'm about 5'-6.5" and 145lbs). The next suit I make should be scaled a bit better.
What do you guy's think?

You did a good job with the build although I would have to agree that is is a little stocky looking. However, not so much that it detracts from the overall appearance. Good job.

Thorg6 aswesome suit ^^ looks really nice. and I think mine is "stockier" so ill look like a line backer :S
just wondering if any1 has any good idead about the fingers.. the fingertips. they are killing me atm. anything else out there that could be a substitue ?

I'm trying to get this done by the time the avengers comes out so I can the the best looking person there I just need an opinion on how it's coming along what do you guys think? I think the chest might be a little large but that's not really my biggest concern right now I am afraid I might be rushing it a little too :confused
