Suggestion definitive EVA FOAM thread/links?

OK so I log into therpf, and see several questions about the material. Can there be a thread that explains how it works, that there's multiple densities, and thickness, and plus links to the prop section and to the costume section about how people used it? Nothing really bugs me when I see recurring threads, but EVA foam should have one review and some links to how it's used in props and costumes. Just my suggestion.

Then there would need to be one on clay. And silicone. And casting resin. And on and on and on...
