Deathstroke - gauntlet help

I'm in the middle of building a Deathstroke costume for my son. I've finished the mask, front armour, back plate and shoulder pieces. But the gauntlets are doing my head in!!

Can anyone help with a rough sketch, template, photos or videos of the construction? It seems there's two different materials (at least two different colours) in all of the reference photos I can find, but I just can't work out how everything goes together.

You can craft them out of EVA foam floor mats and craft foam. you get two different thicknesses that way and can use the side with the carbon fiber like pattern to be the other texture in the pictures. I tried looking for Deathstroke templates to help and only saw basic ones online. The Foam Cave had a few simple templates online which may help you give you a place to start.

you can also do a forum search utilizing the search bar and it should turn up several threads. Most have pics and templates. I hope this helps you out :) good luck on your builld.

Hey, I have a template I can get ya. Give me your email and I'll send it to you. You'll need Inkscape to open it and modify it to your dimensions.

Yeah, I think I've been through every Deathstroke thread. It seems I'm not the only one who hates doing his gauntlets. :)

Hey, Here are the gauntlets I am making for my 13 year old son. They are 10mm foam bases and 5mm designs on the top. I have done a lot of research on them and chased down several variations of them and ended up free handing them from looking over the image files of Deathstroke. Hope this gives you a better idea of how to go about it... My issue is now I have to work out how to rondo / resin them so they stay curved, but I have an idea on that too.. and just so it's clear I have done the mask, chest and back, shins and feet. Need to finish the thighs, knees (am going to buy knee pads) and do the belts and strapping. I just need to figure out how to do the holster as I have an idea on the thighs too...
