Greetings everyone,
As you may have noticed I am brand new but id like to start my arrival off with a bang.
As soon as I saw Deathstroke's new look for Arkham Origins I knew I wanted to make it. My plan is to heavily build off this image as it is the best rendered and looking picture I could find.

My plan is to use EVA foam for the body and do some custom work on the gloves, belts and pouches. Im still trying to figure out the sword and the overlapping bits that run along the body under his arms. I am also considering the best way to go about the helmet.
Anyhow feedback is always good, ill make sure to post lots of pictures of my progress. Im planning on starting at the feet and working my way up, doing the accessories and helmet last.
(UPDATE)
So I began laying out the top part of the chest plate. I decided to do the big pieces first.
The way I did this was a little convoluted. I mapped the visible areas with a beautiful hot pink color. Splitting them with a center line I then picked the better side and cropped it out and dragged it into a new file.

Inside the new file I just flipped my good half onto itself and got a symmetrical template to trace onto foam after I size it up
No details, I will add those on my foam by eye after the piece is cut.

Plans to do my sizing and cutting for the piece above tomorrow. If anyone wants the templates I am in the process of making id be happy to share them once my costume is complete
