But I think the parts are painted...but not so good like the Original.So it needs a repaint.

I'm terrified of ruining a 2000 dollar model with a first time painter's work.
How hard can painting be?! right?!?!

Kinda wish I kept the Big plastic falcon from a year or so back... coulda practiced on that one...
May have to find a new one.
We will see what they ship online.If they ship the old UK-Parts I´m out.That would be a scandal.

Its not so hard to paint as it looks on the first look.I weathered all of my props without an airbrush.So for this model I will work with a airbrush the first time.You cannot ruin it...if the paint looks bad,remove it and make a new trial.A good weathering needs time.
I have no experience weathering, but I'm planning on being patient, also study and practice each technique that I plan on using on my model and if it takes me weeks or even several weeks to finish that will be fine. The more I think about I have a strong feeling it's going to be be very enjoyable

In Deutschland werden keine Teile alter Stand ausgeliefert ,aber!!! es kann passieren das Teile mit altem Stand aus der UK im Markt auftauchen. Sind sie Verpackt,können sie nur an der Batch Nr erkannt werden. Nun die ganz klare Aussage seitens DeAgo,es wird keine Ersatzlieferungen wegen der Abweichungen geben."

Weathering is one of those things that everyone does slightly different... BUT its definitely not something to be afraid of. there are some basic techniques that you need to get the hang of but the "finishing" of a model is pretty individual per builder. I recommend practicing on any scrap plastic you can find. put a primer coat and a base color on it and practice blast marks, washes, rust, dirt grime dry brushing etc. you'll find that you can get a pretty satisfactory result with a little practice and it will take the "mystery" out of doing it for real on your projects. Like anything else it takes practice... and remember you'll likely be your harshest critic. If you're OK with it - everyone else will love it
But one thing - you need reference pics... the more the better the higher resolution the better. Look at the reference then detail a little look at the reference then detail a little more... when you're done you'll be happy... If you Practice first

Theres a Ton of Falcon painting tutorials on Youtube,not to mention all the build diaries on numerous forums, i hadn't painted a model of any kind for 20 years lol, but i done a bit of home work on the internet and i managed to learn enough to be happy with my progress so far, not to mention having a ton of fun in the process!
Educate yourself,practice and just go for it, you might surprise yourself
Heres mine so far ...
It won't be as good as some,not by a long shot but so far I'm happy, a lot better than i ever could have imagined (to my relief )
