Deagostini Falcon. Anyone seen this?

Just got my 2nd box of parts today... issues 5-8... wish they would have included issue 9 with the battery box. So that means it took 3 days (not including Sunday). Not too bad! Now I can get started on this bad boy!
 
I did the research. I have a 32" hull sitting on my desk,have all the donor kits etc. However the idea of being able to piece it all together a kit form is too good to be true. Plus the lighting,movable parts etc, seems the most difficult decision will be how to display it! I've fallen in love with it and the wife said "subscribe"! No need to tell me twice! :)
 
As a professional Esthetician I highly recommend you get one. (Oh sorry, I was reading off the sponsored linky thing).
 
I have just gone through ESB and grabbed all the Falcon scenes (of note) throughout the entire film.

I have seen some conversation recently regarding the white bands at the side of the cockpit being painted white - This shows they are lighted.

Also detail showing the painted stripes on the pipes which run through the hold - showing they are not one solid colour/color :)

Many look the same but the reason is to capture the sequence of flashing lights on the consoles - Ignore the actors - look at the lights, which is actually very few, I have seen many builds of Falcon where although technically brilliant in the use of LED and Fibop look like arcade games.

Wow. Thank you for all the screen caps.

Okay since I am very lazy and not good with lighting someone needs to make us a lighting kit that covers what the Deago does not.

Also a full one for the Hasbro 28" would be great as well.

My pleasure Bud - I will do the same for ANH and ROTJ over the next few days.

I doubt there ever will become an off the shelf "detail" lighting kit for this anytime soon as it would require massive modifications to the model.

Drilling and cutting into a thousand quid plus ornament isn't on many peoples agenda so I'm afraid it,s going to be a bash. if you dare :)

I am using Chrome and don't have that issue, but , I have been getting a lot of spam mail in my inbox recently, anyone else experiencing this ?:facepalm

Yeah, I am just so lazy and also I have about a few hundred projects to get done so any chance to save some work is good for me.

There's a video on Youtube that one of the guys used Tony's nav seats and it looks awesome!!! I'll try to find that video and post here

I got to buy more paints, I ordered some more Tamiya paints, I am sure it's not enough ( 4 flat white to 1 Deck Tan ratio ) and the 1 can of Fine surface primer is not going to be enough

Brilliant supercruise , thanks for that ,some great shots .....what do you use for your screen grabs ? When your spooling through ANH if you can try and grab the detail on the door at the rear of the cockpit when it's closed , but only if your grabbing in those scenes, thanks
I love the two shots confirming use of the 5 footer in ESB, your shots have also confirmed something for me so thanks again
