I just received this email from my good friend. I thought I would share it with you guys.

Hello my Disciples.

SHUT THE F%#$ UP!

Im a second run subscriber so the first part of your post Doesn't apply to me. Theres a petition running for people with mis-matched parts .all from the second run on the Deago forum so the problem still gxists.
Decals- table decal isnt square its oblong and off center. The console decal doesnt stay down as it wont sit in the groove (its too thick) doesnt bother me as I used brass etch. Thanks for the advice on fitting the decals but im not in need of it.
So you haven't covered all my concerns as to do that i'd have to be a first time builder using the trial/ first run.
Im justifying it purely becauseof the amount of posts that didn't like me saying I didnt think it was worth it, god knows why as I've always stated I dont hate the kit and it was always my opinion. Ive been asked to supply pics isnt that asking to justify my views?
Im not happy with the kit and wont be buying it anymore ......as I said originally. Im glad your happy with it, I look forward to pictures once you've built it.

You just dont get it...the pics were asked initially to see what were the problems so me and others could have some knowledge in advance. You became hostile and me and others became a bit doubtful with your claims. More with the sily excuse of how an Ipad takes bad pics...? Please. With each post you do nothing but increase doubts about your decision. You even answered back to LordStyr in a very repugnant way just now. Perhaps you dont have the funds available as you once thought had and have resorted to all kinds of meaningless "flaws"? Who knows....and more precisely who cares? As said before you will no longer build it so why don't you start another thread about your issues and let the rest follow along this thread? Your attitude towards people here are not helping you in any way. This will be my last post to you since having an argument with you is pointless as evidenced by your responses.

You are obviously not a modeler since the problems you point out are all fixable. If you want an already put together MF consider the MR and start saving for it. This Falcon is a buildable KIT, not an already made prop.

I just love the way a few people here are quick-draw artists when it comes to flaming people whose opinions they don't agree with ...

Just curious... did you ever contact DeAgostini directly about your issues? I'm sure they'd be more then happy to replace any parts that weren't up to par. From what I've heard they are very nice and courteous over the phone and more then willing to help resolve any issues.

Ive sent they an email earlier to see if the panels could be swapped along side the decals. Im still going to bail out on this one and go back to the Hasbro. I may transplant the interior in etc and see what happens.

Isn't this the "anyone seen this thread?"
Really....ok somebody has jokes !!!....this is about a thread....in regards to what we have been awaiting and searching for quite along time, not , lets pick this thread to death...I have been here along time and I have never had an opportunity to even own one of these...so as it was put in this ANYONE SEEN THIS THREAD.....for those of us who have a passion for something like this.....so don't start pointing me out my comment...I haven't pointed out anyone elses....want to keep the noise and down and peace , so you might want to consider , before jumping in towards my comment for stating a fact....its time to move on ......we need to stay on topic at hand , not who is upset and whose not, those were already spoken on several posts..., we got the point !!!

I see no problem in that... I know a few people that got a couple of the first few issues just for the cockpit stuff and the extra gun for the bottom. Give them a call... always better to talk to someone in person then have to deal with someone thru email. And usually doesn't take as long either! :)

I think everyone missed my comment earlier about the 3.5' foot Star Destroyer model kit Bandai is coming out with sometime the 3rd quarter of this year! That is going to be KILLER!!

I think this is why the MR falcon is so heavy

if fat boy wants me to take it down it will cost you £31.97 and i won't even charge you interest.

This will be awesome if it comes out but I believe Bandai has yet to confirm it???

Ok after going cross eyed reading endless posts and threads for days and days looking at all the amazing pictures I can find of the real 32inch and watching all the videos of this build and other model builds I think Ive got the right supplies now just waiting for my list of mig oils to come in and then I can start to practice on the parts Ive received :)IMG_2765.JPG

I was looking for this photo! I knew I saw it somewhere before. You can see how thick the plastic along with the metal armature is. It feels like a tank. Looking and feeling the plastics of both ships, the MR is definitely heavier duty.

OMG that is , something I thought I would never see on a MR millennium falcon...I thought they were factory enclosed ......oh that is much heavier !!! Wow....thanks Zorg
Well any thoughts on more hardcore armature for the new Deago falcon !!! to stabilize the factory armature it has in certain sections , where the interior is not at ???? IDEAS

The latest parts are below, sorry for the quality of photos as they are from my iPad. It looks to be more hold walls and body panels, though I have not opened the books yet to check.

They are factory enclosed. This was a production photo that comes with the MR. You can see it has the engine grill inside which they didn't end up using to stay true to the filming model
