Im a second run subscriber so the first part of your post Doesn't apply to me. Theres a petition running for people with mis-matched parts .all from the second run on the Deago forum so the problem still gxists.
Decals- table decal isnt square its oblong and off center. The console decal doesnt stay down as it wont sit in the groove (its too thick) doesnt bother me as I used brass etch. Thanks for the advice on fitting the decals but im not in need of it.
So you haven't covered all my concerns as to do that i'd have to be a first time builder using the trial/ first run.
Im justifying it purely becauseof the amount of posts that didn't like me saying I didnt think it was worth it, god knows why as I've always stated I dont hate the kit and it was always my opinion. Ive been asked to supply pics isnt that asking to justify my views?
Im not happy with the kit and wont be buying it anymore ......as I said originally. Im glad your happy with it, I look forward to pictures once you've built it.

Just curious... did you ever contact DeAgostini directly about your issues? I'm sure they'd be more then happy to replace any parts that weren't up to par. From what I've heard they are very nice and courteous over the phone and more then willing to help resolve any issues.
Really....ok somebody has jokes !!!....this is about a thread....in regards to what we have been awaiting and searching for quite along time, not , lets pick this thread to death...I have been here along time and I have never had an opportunity to even own one of these...so as it was put in this ANYONE SEEN THIS THREAD.....for those of us who have a passion for something like this.....so don't start pointing me out my comment...I haven't pointed out anyone elses....want to keep the noise and down and peace , so you might want to consider , before jumping in towards my comment for stating a fact....its time to move on ......we need to stay on topic at hand , not who is upset and whose not, those were already spoken on several posts..., we got the point !!!Isn't this the "anyone seen this thread?"
Ive sent they an email earlier to see if the panels could be swapped along side the decals. Im still going to bail out on this one and go back to the Hasbro. I may transplant the interior in etc and see what happens.

I think everyone missed my comment earlier about the 3.5' foot Star Destroyer model kit Bandai is coming out with sometime the 3rd quarter of this year! That is going to be KILLER!!
This will be awesome if it comes out but I believe Bandai has yet to confirm it???
I was looking for this photo! I knew I saw it somewhere before. You can see how thick the plastic along with the metal armature is. It feels like a tank. Looking and feeling the plastics of both ships, the MR is definitely heavier duty.I think this is why the MR falcon is so heavy

if fat boy wants me to take it down it will cost you £31.97 and i won't even charge you interest.
They are factory enclosed. This was a production photo that comes with the MR. You can see it has the engine grill inside which they didn't end up using to stay true to the filming modelOMG that is , something I thought I would never see on a MR millennium falcon...I thought they were factory enclosed ......oh that is much heavier !!! Wow....thanks Zorg
Well any thoughts on more hardcore armature for the new Deago falcon !!! to stabilize the factory armature it has in certain sections , where the interior is not at ???? IDEAS
