Deagostini Falcon. Anyone seen this?

Ok.....are these the official Deago gear? Im kinda out of touch as I didnt know they were offering gear. I thought there was some sort of stand in the works.

Cant complain though as I have everything just sitting in a big box in the hall closet. Heck, I have my 29" toy with full upgrades sitting in the office waiting for some love.
BTW FZ6's Upgrades are awesome....have a bunch of them waiting to be installed. Uber clean casts.

98_10.jpg I havent tried yet the landing gear.. how fits on the main body but i dont like the quote there .- have a look.

Do you mean about not switching back and forth between gear and no gear? If so, I see your point, but if it was easy to swap and re-swap, seems like that would mean there's lots of room around the sides of parts where you might see gaps. I guess we gotta make choice--get the fence pole out of our butts.

On another note, why does it say the mount is free for subscribers but also available for purchase? Aren't ALMOST all of the target audience subscribers? And if you buy it from someone else, wasn't that person, most likely, a subscriber? I guess it's for that small group who comes in and buys the whole thing at once. Ooops--thinking just now that people buying this from (what are they called?) news agents. They would have to fork over to buy this, I guess. I never understood this, though. Why wouldn't they have a subscription? I get buying a magazine because you like it, but don't want a subscription, and sometimes it's sold out or you don't have a chance to up this month's issue in time, but when it matters that you have every single issue?

If you have it, or enough issues, you can see from the metal framing that there is some extra support for those areas.

Paplooo , are you referring to how the landing lights won't operate unless the landing legs are attached or as Dedalus5550 suggests?. Re: the mount available for purchase stuff , yeah , some countries offer newsagents subscriptions , for those who prefer to go that route ( I'm in that boat ) , apparently others have found direct subscriptions to have been , shall we say " total bloody nightmares " to deal with . Ged .

I've heard about the nightmares--bloody and otherwise. All I can say I have had zero problems (knocking on wood) with two subscriptions that only have a few months left.

I, and I am sure many others, will come up with a way to switch between landing and flying. Not thrilled with Deago on this and I love Deago very much but the whole point is to be able to switch the display between lading and flying and I will do so.

For crying out load the darn thing is sitting over there on a shelf nearly fully built "landed" on the bolts.

I'm not sure what the actual mechanism is that turns on lights when the landing gear are installed, but sure seems like something that could be shorted so the lights come one when the master switch or whatever it has is turned on, right? It says that when the legs are installed, the landing lights work and that you can't really just remove the legs (not easily or reliably) and they wouldn't design it so that the lights stay on forever--or until the battery wears out--so they must still be switched with the master. Does this make sense? And it can't be too hard to just run a wire around the landing gear switch.

It's very simple, there is a switch in one of the gear bays that is pressed when landing gear is installed. Easily defeated if you want the landing lights on regardless of gear fitted or not.

Ditto, UK subscriber since beginning and not had a single problem.

Does anyone have any photos they can share of some of Tony's 3D printed engine vents completed and put together? I've seen plenty of the photos of them before being put together, but would love to see them complete on the model.

Sweet! Now we just need some of our fantastic 3D modelers to design some open bay doors to attach to those landing gear inserts.

What about these landing bay doors? :D

Good enough?

MF DEAGO LANDING BAY DOORS.png

I've released them in Strong Flexible Polished Plastic, in order to have a lower price.

I think that they will do the trick.

I believe the doors are sectioned in thirds, rather than half.

One panel opens to one side, while the other two panels fold on the other.

Unfortunately, I don't have a photo handy (I'm at work. Obviously, not working)

Someone correct me, if I'm wrong.

You can see them in the Hoth hanger scenes.
