Deagostini Falcon. Anyone seen this?

yeah I did. They're taking their time getting back. Probably getting sick of getting bombarded with emails from people enquiring about the Falcon haha. There is an option there to subscribe at any issue but I'm just being careful in case it somehow upsets their computers as I know they were having problems with their systems a few months ago and a few accounts and mine was one of them.

It seems like the UK site is better than the US site. You can' t order back issues on the US site. Worse comes to worse, you could always order back issues as they come available. (Which may save you on shipping if you order them in bulk) Good luck mate.

Got my #7 package yesterday, and it was damaged by USPS, and it was missing the parts package for issue #28. Made a phone call to DEA, and they are sending a replacement but only ship on Thursdays.. UGH :rolleyes

I can't say much for their packaging, because I too have received damaged components, but they were quick to respond to an email I sent regarding the issue. A reshipment of the entire package of the issue came in about 3 weeks. They stand behind their product.

Could be concerning the initial release which was used to test the market perhaps?

No Jager,
once the Falcon was issued for real ( ie not the test run) people complained that the nose cone and some of the hull plates were not right.DeAgostini did redesign the nose cone and someone posted that in another countries release (maybe Japan) the hull parts were also redesigned from issue 1 and 3 .That is what I am looking for information on.I thnk it was posted here somewhere, but I cant find it

If you look at the two hull corridor pieces, you'll notice that the notches all along the bottom are missing and the notches in the panels on the sides are indented into the top of them instead of just the panels. Those are the issues that I know of in those two pieces from issues 1 & 3 and have heard are being corrected.

It's the top panels above the ramp, TP-1 and TP-2. The armor panels on the sides don't have a top edge along the top, but instead go all the way to the top and the notches are carved into the top edge. Here's what it initially looked like:

It has been corrected (though I believe there were a couple other little things also wrong that weren't corrected, not sure what exactly, notches on the bottom of the panels but that maybe due to casting undercuts though other side notches came out fine) in the parts received in the Japan test run, and in the parts in France where it just came available last month, Here's one of the corrected parts.:

Looks like I'll have to sell mine. Want to propose in November . I have 6 months in hand 7th on the way. all issues and parts are untouched. What's a good price to ask for this? Kinda been out of the prop game for awhile.

I'm curious... did everyone get their email about being billed for the next shipment? I checked my bank and was billed but received no email. Just wondering if it may have been a glitch or something.

No billing or shipping emails but the package arrived yesterday. Better than the other way around!

Yup, that was me.

The big tan/beige hull pieces from issues 1 and 3.

The following links are from our website. It is the only good way that I can currently and accurately show you the parts I am speaking of.

The next link is a post on Facebook that illustrates the differences with a side by side of the original parts and updated corrected parts.

The last link is a builder from France showing a video with a side by side of the original parts and updated corrected parts.

I really hope that we can get the corrected parts.

Well I got my shipped out email but never got a billed email! Odd!

I never got either billed/shipped emails and my pack 7 arrived last Saturday. My friend had the same issue and his pack 7 arrived last Wednesday.
Not sure what happened on their end for the lack of emails. Just happy my parts arrived.
