Special Children's Christmas Party

To say the Special Children’s Christmas Party is a Pretty special troop would be an understatement.
You can’t put a value on being able to bring happiness and joy to those who need it most. There was so many amazing and inspirational kids there today
(For the sake of the privacy of the kids the only pics we had taken of ourselves was with just 501st members, but we were swamped all day!)
Also Darth Vader with the Batmobile, enough said...

Calling all Makers, Builders, and Tinkerers! I have some exciting news to share and a question to ask.
I’m currently in my final year of university/college which means I have a thesis project. With this I had the opportunity to apply to do my project in association with Techtronic Industries and my application was successful!
Techtronic Industries are the guys that own Ryobi, AEG, Milwaukee and countless other huge brands, so they’re a big deal in the power tools industry. Needless to say, that’s hugely exciting. I’ve been set the challenge of designing around “How can Smart Home Technology positively impact the experience of power tool users within the home workshop/hobbyist setting?”
As part of my research I’m doing a survey to collect feedback, and this is hugely important in helping me with my final year thesis project.
The survey literally only takes 5 minutes and would be deeply appreciative of any the responses I receive

I would love to receive survey responses from members here as I know this amazing community is full talented makers, tinkers, problem solvers and much more. Even if you feel you’re not an ‘expert’ on power tools or DIY type stuff your feedback is just as valuable in helping determine areas to consider during the design process!
