yes, because a movie poster would say: tony stark returns with power...

its a fake that someone is selling on amazon and making money of it, thats what syrus was pointing out.

appart from that, the mk 7 was "destroyed" and more or less nonfunctional at the end of the avengers.
not like the mk 6 was in iron man 2.

yeah it was destroyed so was the mark 3 and it is still in the hall of armor so as the mark 1 and its also in the hall of armor also the mark 2

yes but what you see in the shot is a picture of the suit halfway through the avengers when it was partly damaged, but functional.
putting it on the poster in that form is just stupid.
either totally damaged, or new

also, my point is, why would they put the mk 7 on the poster if its destroyed and will not be seen in iron man 3 except maybe for a hall of armor shot

and the quote below the title makes it just ridiculous.

Ok, guys... that Mk VII pose has been released on another Avengers poster from Marvel. I have it in my reference images link in the first post. Thanks for posting though... I am always looking for new images.

Real quick question, what would you recommend wearing under the iron man suit? I would think it would have to be red but I'm not sure if it's a body suit like under armor or something more padded. Glove ideas for the under the glove armor if possible to. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

I would recommend something like this:

Maybe not that exact color but that type of suit. I think they are also called zentai suits.

u no i was wondering the same thing about under suits and would you defo need some sort of cooling system ? i would have thought the gaps in the suit would b adequate enoug ?

the same reason as why one of the avengers poster was a mark 6 : because he uses it again ; it doesnt mean he broke it that he need to make a new armor he could just ask jarvis to restore the mark7

Finally set up my Silhouette Cameo (very nice). So how do i set it up to work 100% accurate?

Print out a page which has some items near the opposite corner of the dark square.
Cut the page with the cameo. This will give you an idea how much it may be off. If you need to make adjustments, you will see that the farther away from the black square, the more the cutting is not on the line. It could end up completely off the time.

Measure the distance from the paper side of the black square to the corner of the L at each edge. measure to about 1/2 mm. Update your settings in the registration marks dialog to match your measurements.

I had to add .5 mm in one direction and 1mm in the other and now it cuts on the line all the time.

ok there are connection pics of darksides lower forearm and hand plate. other one is original ironmans forearm and handplate connections picture. so if you are still working on mark 7 V2 please edit them like this one if i have little bit 3d talents i'll do it my self and post but ican't do it

I just realized that I have a lot of thin foam (2mm). Is it possible to use it for the foam templates and then use resin, fiber glass, etc...just as the regular method?

Yes, I am very observant myself. What a lot of you newcomers don't realize is that all these hi-res pics weren't available when I started this project and the movie had not come out yet. So all I had to go by was a few low-res pics of an inaccurate statuette. My version two files will be accurate, you don't have to doubt that.

It is possible but the resin and fiberglass wont stick directly to the foam. Look at these two threads for more info:

Some of you know that I made a second version 1 back with four separate flaps (upper and lower). This file never got unfolded. This is not a version 2 file but rather an alternate version 1 file. If anyone wants to unfold it I have shared the PDOs here:

Start with a simple part like the shoulder bells or a small part like the handplate. Don't start with the hardest part.

So, that's not the v2 back, correct, It's the v1?

That is correct. Version 1 back I did a long time ago with all four flaps. Pics on first post. Foam templates were made but nobody unfolded the pepakura file.
