USPS tracking was down yesterday. The initial Parcel2go estimate was 8-18 but that was when it was handed over to USPS. As soon as it arrives I will post pictures of the hilt.

If your on the later ladder Joe, "full install" you'll be last like myself. Sometime possible in September or October.

I'm not. just a regular ol hilt. No weathering AND I was first to jump on this run and I'm first on the list :behave

But clearly paid LONG before the hilts were finished... Not to mention you promised me several times I'd be in the first shipment and we see how that went. Either way I'd like an ETA on my hilt please.

Had to file a report with USPS since the hilt had arrived in New York on 8-18 but didn't have any updated tracking info. Got an email back from USPS saying they think the item was lost but don't know for sure (give it two days). So basically I am waiting to see if it shows up....if it doesn't it looks like all I will get from USPS for the saber is $50

Hello everyone. I joined this run in July and picked up the saber that someone had backed out on. Since then I have had some difficulties with the seller as I believe you all have. I received this hilt today and did an unboxing and review. This is my opinion and may not reflect your own views of the situation. I encourage you to watch the video and read the description at the bottom that includes a timeline of my conversations with the seller.

Edit: I have heard from the seller who has offered to replace any broken or damaged parts. I'm not sure what to ask for because I feel that the hilt is a very poor representation of what I thought I was purchasing. I would like to know what the community feels could be done to correct this?

I respect your opinion. If you want a shiny, out of the factory saber, then i can solve that for you.This was my view how a used saber look like, game valid. BUT if anyone have complaints about the useability, then i can find a solution ( ie., random holes, open cracks.. )

One thing someon's probably missed: the switchbox was separated because if i atach it to the body ( as per in the game there are no screws ) then you could not separate the parts easily. Let we be honest: i tried to keep the prices reasonable, still i think the machining quality is quite good. It is not the iPhone of the sabers, i have to admit ( mostly pricewise ) and not a 500 USD hilt, that is expensive because the brand. We tried to do something, what is not produced frequently, aside of the difficulties we face i think this wasn't the worse start ever.

Of course i would not want to influence anyone's decision, bad or good. The last of the hilts are shipping out really soon and i am eager to hear about everyone's opinions. I'm not aiming to be the second Saberforge or whatever, just keep it clean

Just a cleanly machined hilt is what I payed for, or, if that's impossible due to price, the upfront honesty that you were producing a C grade hilt would be nice. It feels like you are side stepping the quality issues by making it appear that I have unreasonable expectations.

I ordered an aluminum blank, not a weathered, used or hero hilt and certainly not an "interpretive art piece" . Where was the miscommunication? This looks nothing like the blank, the painted hero, or the prototype. That's not opinion, that is fact.

This is an unacceptable excuse. If you can't provide decent quality at a price point then don't sell it. The pictures shown by clancampbell did not look like my pieces quality in the slightest. Even the three aluminum blanks you posted did not look like this thing you sent me. Again, I refer you to the video.

Also... while we are on "keeping prices reasonable" shipping supplies is not the place to save money. You used no packing material, zero, none. Newspaper is cheap and would be better than free floating aluminum. Come on man. That above all else is inexcusable, unprofessional, and quite possibly a malicious action.
I wouldn't ship a brick to my next door neighbor without packing tape and bubble wrap.

After going back and looking at posted pics, I really believe that you got pissed because I was done with being put off and asked for a refund so you grabbed this thing, shoved it in a box and mailed it. If that's the case, was it worth all this?

I mean dude, for real. Tell me what's going on so it makes sense. Even your RPF posts have been dodgy and disorganized.

This whole situation is disappointing and frustrating.

Okay, then sorry, i MADE a mistake to send you the other hilt what was NOT the machined clean one. I CAN solve that, because there are hilts that is NOT weathered/colored.
The frustrating is that of course i made a mistake sending you the colored/weathered hilt.
About the prices: yes, i try to be reasonable. The packaging: in house mistake, corrected it with the other ones.
BUT - you was the only one who found this completely crap. I am sorry if you think that, maybe the clean one appeals more.

Sidenote: all the hilts came from the same place, same material, same manufacturing methods and tools.

I do not want to make this a complaint thread, of course i want to solve if there are real problems, but this is why is have my email and PM.
