Well, I should start with the third run on June but after that I doubt people will still be interested, plus I'm already working with another projects, when did you want to get one?

So...that is leather underneath all this?

Because I did this for the jacket I currently have...


I suppose with a stern application of E6000, it ought to stick...not that it matters, I'm selling my jacket, bits and all to get into a Danny-Jacket

FYI! The leather bonding under the valve goes clear up under the leather pleat. You can see it here! But still a damn fine looking coat!!! I believe this photo came from the "RISU" collection of fine art!

I am around 5' 7" 140 lbs. I ordered a size small also.

I am 5'5" and 140lbs. I have a custom made to measure Wolverine Jacket with what looks to be almost the same measurements as the size small so that is what I ordered as well but I just got in on this last order and, obviously, have not gotten the jacket yet.

Yes, thanks for this awesome review, Kevin, I am seriously considering getting one of these as well and am hoping your 'nitpicks' may translate into the current run (Danny, I've got an image or two for you..stay tuned, LOL! )

I, too, have a larger patch and valve, but may consider trimming it down just a tad to make it work. I put a lot of detail into painting mine

First off, this jacket is lightyears ahead of anything else available at the moment. Well done, Danny! The construction is great, and the overall fit is nice. When I first put it on it definitely felt a little snug, and short. I am 5'10" and 190lbs, and my measurements put me right between a small and a medium, but closer to the medium. I opted to go with the bigger size, and I probably could have gone up to the large. However, the more I wear it the more comfortable I feel in it, so it very well could just need to be broken in.

The screen printing looks great, though it could be lighter in color (or clear as some have pointed out the real jacket was)

Arm details. Because the patch is smaller, the embossed base is smaller as well. If you're using your own patch it will end up covering up some of the detail. The elastic straps are also 3/4" and should 1"

Here's a better look at the size difference in the patches and valves. My patch is about 1" taller and 1/2" wider

If I had the zipper installed, I would still be able to zip it up no problem. Just needs that little bit of extra breathing room. The length also isn't bad, but it couldn't hurt to be slightly longer. The zipper I will have installed (seen above) will need to be shortened by about 2"

Overall, I'm very pleased with the jacket. I've already reached out to Danny about some of the nitpicks I mentioned here to help improve the future runs. Those of you waiting (im)patiently should be very happy once you get yours!

I'm giving spats for just 99 dlls shipping them with the jacket so you save almost 50 dlls on them, I'm about to finish the gloves but I don't have a price for them yet. Signed up!
