Cyberpunk city diorama

I made a water tower that is often seen on the roof of an old apartment building.

Almost thought you making some home made fireworks there with the mortar tubes....something I definitely know nothing about...at all. Nope.

Lol, so that was my grand finale for my July 4th show.
Heres a short video I made for just that. I was thinking it would take a few seconds longer to start, so I hit the button slightly early, but it went pretty fast, but then some of the fuses took longer to light than expected. Over all, it was pretty fun.

Between building models and setting off fireworks....sure is expensive hobbies.

That's a gorgeous firework! If I make a crappy model craft, I ask you to blow it up. I need a good pyro technisien. By the way, I heard that the pyro technician needs to clear the government qualification. It's a very hard one I know. Pyro tech and graphic tech, you never miss the meal for tomorrow.

This Summer, there was a few accidents at the firework show here. A few people were injured by the fire. They said there is a lack of experts.

Thats not good. You definitely need to know what your doing for something like that.
Getting an actual license is very tricky and you have to be able to pass all these certain things.
One of the major ones, is you have to show that you have a safe way to store everything, which is usually having some kind of bunker of giant metal container in a safe area, so if they were all to go off, no one or buildings would get hurt.
For the stuff I get, I put them in plastic containers in the closet. Not the most safe area. But as long as the house doesn't catch on fire, they should be ok. Thats the gamble of it I guess.

Great building structure Katsu-san...and the elevator is very Blade Runner:cool::cool:(y)(y):notworthy::notworthy:
Thank you so much, joberg-san!
That is very awesome. I agree with joberg, very Blade Runner looking! (y)(y):notworthy::notworthy:
Thank you so much, stevie-san!
Outstanding addition! Fantastic vision (as always)!
Thank you for the kind comment, James-san!
Just when you think that it can't get any more awesome...
 Thank you so much, Thaddeus-san! I hope you like it when it's all done.

I have been wondering how to design this upper structure. I drew several sketches and thought about this and that. Finally, I took this design to express my deep respect for the miniature makers and designers of that fabulous Tyrrel building of 'Blade Runner', So, it is my happiness and very honor that some of you mentioned that movie.
If someone asks me 'What is your all-time best movie?'
1. Blade Runner
2. Alien
I remember, Almost 40 years ago, every weekend, I checked the movie community magazine reporting which theater was running 'Blade Runner'. When the work hours are over on Saturday evening. I drove my car to get there. Sometimes I drove 2 hours, 3 hours. Many of them were small theaters and often ran late at night. In that era, we Japanese had only a day off on Sunday. It was a bit tough but I was young and stupid. No video tapes, No internet though, I was so happy.
If you have your movie of all time, you are so lucky.
