Cyback's War Machine

Best war machine out there right now.

Its so streamlined and not top heavy.
The proportions are very well done.

Nothing really that accurate to the movie out there yet.

So its cool to see someone pulled it off.

Dude, sorry but I'm gonna have to cheat on your War Machine build Stealth and have sex with this one for now.. LOL
(inside joke izabel dont get freaked out.)

:rolleyes we're the best?

I agree that this is absolutely the coolest war machine I've seen. Takes just enough liberty to be unique while staying true enough to be admired. The mechanization is awesome, and as the poster above said.. the materials are fantastic

thanks. you don't know how much w eappreciate these positive comments. :D

I would have to say this is the BEST Warmachine out there! It still amazes me that it is made from rubber sheets.

hehe. war machine is made of rubber and can kick ass. woohoo! :angel

saw this first at the PS3 launch in glorietta, was totally blown away, clean construction, superb likeness ( almost 100%screen accurate), great fit, amazing mobility and movement, did not look like foam assisted rubber at all, and of course the guns, hooboy incredible costume. to top it all the creator ( cyback) was a great guy, very open to sharing with complete noobs like me, no keeping of ultra secret materials and techniques, ask away and he will answer to the best of his ability

to answer aaron lee from another thread:

The Hulk Buster and the Megatron are crazy awesome. Can you get this "rubber" thin enough to be flexible like over a joint?

yes.

as you can see, it's not cut by the joint. we actually wear this whole arm, then attach it to the shoudlers via belt clip.

i have numbered the pieces of the suit & how we wear it.

1. thighs
2. feet/legs
3. abs
4. neck brace
5. chest
6. brief
7 - 8. arms
9. helmet

it takes 2 large bags to transport this. LOL. IM only take 1. :D Bumblebee 5. @-)

it really depends on the maker on how he will divide the pieces. another factor that made cyback make the arms in 1 piece is because of the wirings. the right arm has the button that controls the rotation of the gatling gun at the back. the revolving movement is via RC by another person.

Izabel, how do you guys fill the edges when you make a sharp angle with the rubber? Since it's no vacuuforming and I see a lot of sharp angles, I'm wondering how do you achieve the smooth look. Example, shoulder bells. I think there should be 3 pieces. The part that goes from the deltoid to the upper tricep and then the two parts: front and back pieces that are connected to the first one. How do you weld the rubber together? Or do you guys use just a single piece of rubber, bent and worked in order to get a complex object out of it?

I don't know if that's a clear question...

*nosebleed. :confused hahaha. joking. hmmmm... i guess it depends on the part.
wah. add me in ym. then let's go video conferencing 1 tym. i'll let you guys talk to robert. it's getting technical. hahaha!

it depends on how the creator will tackle the part really. example, he can make a round cup if he wants to then just add details. or yeah he can dissect it into 3 pieces as you said. it actually depends on how the part should look at the end - whether it needs angles, or sides, or be just smooth.

i hope i answered even 1% of your question. :unsure

The cast of IRONMAN 2. hahaha!

We had a character appearance at Robinson's Mall last April 25. I am with my friends.

Jc as Whiplash, Melvin as Ironman, Izabel as Black Widow & Robert as War Machine.

The IM costume is Robert's lent to Melvin for this.
