Custom Hot Toys Predator 1 with Berserker body

I've been asked to post a pic of the new head on original HTP1 body. I thought it might interest some of you, so, here it is.

Now, I hesitated if I should come up with this comparision, because this HTP1 head (on right) is heavy modified within an old project (everything on this head had a little touch up ). The general size however remained the same I think:

The heads are similar size-wise as you can see, the one I did is wider in eyes and jaws area, it has more "massive" built in general too. The "inner" jaws are wider also. The head was created for a bigger, bulkier body -it happened to be Berserker. You have to assess yourself if the new head matches stock P1 body.

The custom head looks fine on the original P1 body imo.

Sweet, that combination really works well. It actually looks more accurate than the HT pred 1. I couldn't afford such a project but I just completed a custom predator. It is a 1/4 original, Check me out.

I'm still waiting for the silicone and its driving me mad. I don't want to mess with the head now but to make the cast first and use it for final corrections. In the meantime I've been trying out various materials for the netting, but so far nothing to be shown came out of it really.. I think things will speed up soon

Here in the US they sell Marbles in a mesh netting bag. They also sell gold coin chocolets in a mesh sack. They would work good for body netting.

i used some netting from a small fishing net, bit of a trial fitting it but worked ok.....

I can say that the mesh netting works ok. I used it on my Predator 2 1/3.

Erwin it looks alittle to fish net looking.It reminds me of the 1/4 Neca netting.

I tried lingerie for the netting (yes my girlfriend knows about it) but it stretches to much. I even tried mesh netting bag garlic comes with but it was a big fail also ( garlic predator? WTH)
I think youre're right Erwin and Georgieboy, a fishing store is the best place to search. I guess the net with 4-5mm squre would be spot on (Hot Toys is 6mm)

I did the first cast of the head. Now i will tweak the shape of it and correct some issues I noticed. Then I'll duplicate it again and show you the final result.

I think pretty well as for a noob I would say, but.. I shoud have listened to the advice from more experienced colleague (MasterAnubis ) and use some talc powder on the mold prior to casting.. I don't need perfect bubble free cast for now, but later on I will have to learn how to eliminate surface bubbles.
