Crysis Nanosuit - has anyone done one?

I mentioned a fabric embossing technique on a thread concerned with Tron costumes. I didn't develop this technique for either Tron or Crysis, but I suspect it'd work quite well for either!

Personally I'd probably make the chunks of "muscle fibre" out of flexible upholstery foam wrapped in spandex treated as mentioned above, but the metal framework it hooks onto has that sort of cast-machined look and ought to be brushed aluminium or stainless steel. Tricky.

The muscle chunks look quite doable.

and pretty much stealing and taking credit for the helmet you see him wear on his "awesome suit" from another member here.

As in he didn't create it.

I've been interested in making this suit for some time now.
Though I've seen some done, I haven't seen one yet the way I would go about it, which would be a full body silicone rubber suit.

With the abundance of talented foam suit makers on the forum now, i'd love to see someone tackle this with foam. The "metal" pieces could be resin or something to give the suit some structure to build off of, while doingthe muscle strands all in foam. Could be pretty cool if done right

i think pipe insulation would make a great base for this. its round, its foam, and it comes in different sizes

Could not help but notice the Spiderman 2099 suit in the Spiderman: Edge of Time game has a strong Crysis look to it.
