Hi Kursosawa,I would be in for a green emitter.

Whould you have some green cores too,and switches?
I hope you can have it!

Cores are not available separately, but if you want an emitter, let me know how many you want and what color. I even have a few marbled emitters up for grabs. Pics soon to follow. As for the switches, they are standard push button momentary switches like those seen here

thanks,if marble available I would choose a marble,if not just a green one.
About cores,I don't know how to do,and where to find something correct…

I have some ideas about other modifications on the universal remote,needs sone machining stuff,but it can work.
replacing the copper pars for real copper,and modifying the conical piece for a better look,not too hard to do.

is it too late to make mine a marbled core? also are they interchangeable by default or is that something you need to modify? I'd really like to see the regular green and marbled green lit but i think your gallery only shows a lit marbled version

The Marbled Cores are unfortunately not interchangeable as changing one out would require completely disassembling the sonic.

Just a heads up. Thinkgeek is having a sale this week so for anyone who orders a sonic in the next couple of days will get their sonic for 400 as opposed to the usual 430.

Received my sonic today and I'm blown away with how nice it is. As for some of you who are asking if it flicks open, it does but at least with mine I had to open and close it a few times by hand and then I was able to get it to start opening when flicked.

how many times is a few? i just got mine too and ive opened it about 30 times and it isnt loosening up or anything. I cant flick it at all =(

I also cant get it to stay closed completely. can get the prongs to stay closed but as soon as i remove my hand it slides forward about 2 millimeters...just enough to release the prongs....

I have a 480 dollar sonic with no closed state and zero flicking ability. both of which are things the 30 dollar toy could accomplish....im sorry to say im extremely disappointed

It didn't take 30 times, but Gene mentioned in his build thread that the more you use it the more it will loosen up. I also suggest you PM Gene about any other issues you are having, he seems very responive to any issues people have had.

As mentioned, it will take a bit of time and force to work itself in. Just drop me a PM with any issues and I will sort it all out. I don't stop until my customers are happy. I know these sonics aren't cheap, and to that end all my customers have my full support to get their sonics the way they want them.

New Virtue: I will even switch out your sonic for my own personal one if you wish. Its flick ready and everything.
