What will the finish of the metal be, just standard brushed, or smooth?
How does the crystal chamber attach to the clamp spacer? I dont see threads there in the diagrams.
What kind of locking mechanism or design is used for closing and opening the chamber? Is is just an "L" slide track? Id think that wouldnt stay in place well when closed.
Sorry for all the questions. Otherwise yeah, I'm in. I probably don't need the crystal though, I'll be using my own quartz crystal.
I will commit as well. Currently requested a standard version but am debating on switching to the FX version.
If using an FX version on a standard Roman hilt, wouldn't it be possible to use a short bolt with a washer running through the booster to hold the sink nob on? In the same fashion as the emitter.
I really like the way the spacer of the FX version screws into the booster. I'll make my decision soon, hope it's not an issue.
Would it be possible to place a real crystal in it (by myself), too?
What are the final materials now? All metal?
If it fit RE saber I guess it'll fit a real parts saber as well?
No problem, I could help you with the electronics for the crystal, for the standard version I could put something together for the crystal led light up.
since I'm getting a lot of request for the crystal light up, would you want a standard lit or a flickering effect? Check post 68 for video
for the FX version I would suggest using the nano board, but any board will work but space is very limited.
just need 17 more people so we can get this started. :cool

for those of you who are lighting up and adding a blade and doing your own for the FX version I would suggest using the nano board, but any board will work but space is very limited.
