Clone Wars Hasbro Helmets - HELP!

Okay, maybe I'm going insane (yes I know - short trip!) but it seems like last week I saw a voice changer helmet that looked like Commander Fox's that was going to be an exclusive release at Target, TRU, or Wal-mart.

My son wants to be Fox for Halloween, and now I can't find any info on the helmet what-so-ever.

Anybody know what I'm deluding myself about.

It's not the Commander, though, just a normal clone.
There was also a thread on it over on TDH, I think it was in the Sarlaac Pit. One of the members had picked one up, there's pics in the thread.

EDIT:
Didn't realize there was another clone trooper helmet coming. Just did some browsing on target and there is an exclusive red clone helmet coming, but isn't expected to ship until Oct 16.

Just went ahead and got the standard version at Target.

I have to say, for $30 I'm highly impressed. The helmet has alot of nice detail and the assembly is engineered quite well. The pre-recorded stuff sounds great, as does the static effect, but it's not really picking up my sons voice. The mic can be adjusted, and that might solve the problem.

I can't really speak to accuracy, but it looks good to me.:thumbsup

For kids maybe, but that wouldn't work for a high-end costume unless you modded the heck out of it. Right off the bat the visor is very noticeably much wider than the movie ones. But maybe you're going for the animated movie look....

Hankey, if you're in Toronto head on over to the Silver Snail. They had it all in stock by Sunday. I've already got my AT-TE, voice-changer helmet, and a few 1st day of issue figures. It's a few bucks more than retail, but not bad considering I'd likely have missed it otherwise. Too bad there were no midnight madness parties in Canada I'm aware of.

I'm going to knock out a visor for this one really soon. Obi/Cody isn't far off at all! :angel

I picked one of these this evening and it's a nice toy. I can't see trooping in one of these. I must say that they put a lot of effort into this thing. It snaps together faster than you can get it out of its industrial packaging. There are so many wire-ties holding this thing into the "Rubiks Cube" of boxes, that only sober people should attempt this. (seriously)

It is definitely worth $30, but not a nickel more.

I just picked one up, and echo what C6 said. But, my plan is to rip out the sound system and insert the chip with the phrases into my actual Clone suit and utilize it that way.

If you have ever tried to see out a regular 1:1 scale clone helmet, visibility is very limited. Making a helmet that little kids can't see out of, and lead them to get hurt, brings lawsuits.

If you want something more accurate, wate for the efx to come out. (but don't preorder)

I dont believe they are doing any pre-orders.

The static burst sounds great, but the mic doesn't pick up jack. I've messed with it alot, and it just doesn't work. I'm wondering about swapping out the mic.

Hmm. I may check it out. How does it work? It gives the burst after you stop talking?
