Hello everybody! I've been trolling these forums for years now admiring the amazing work that some of you do on here. So, this year i've finally decided to make my first post, and first ever costume build. For halloween this year i've decided to make a classic spiderman costume, to start i've purchased a spidey zentai suit. On the agenda for this build are puffy painting the webs for some dimension, crafting my own movie like spidey lenses, and adding some muscle shading for additional dimension. I hope you all enjoy the pics, the top three are in progress shots of puffy painting the mask and sort of an "after" version of the lower pic which is how it looked as purchased, a.k.a. the "before" version.

Whatsup everyone? I've got a photo update for you, I started the eyes on my spidey suit. The method I used in these pics is cutting some thin lexan into the shape I wanted, then used some privacy window tint with a mirror finish. My frames were made out of sculpey, but I didn't quite achieve the level of precision I wanted to with the sculpt so, I'm probably going to re-do them buy tracing my pattern out onto some foam and making a mold with some plaster then casting them in urethane. I am open to suggestion as far as this method though if anyone has a better idea. Alrighty all, enjoy the pics!
