At the time we began taking deposits we thought we were ready...until we took the shield out for a test run at the WWII event and realized our design of the straps did not meet the strict standards we know you're paying for.

Sorry for the delay my friends. We have a package of parts and design notes about to ship to our leather worker.
In the meantime, our inaugural run of shields are currently being fabricated in our shop.

We now have all the leather parts back. These will be full steam ahead shortly. I just have to finish painting a few round shields first.

My apologies for the ridiculous wait.
An overdue update:
Our leather specialist finished all sets of straps for the first run.
We have shields going into the press daily, cutting and prep begins this coming week followed by the paintwork.
I'm going to really push to have them shipped before the end of the month, but we can't rush the paint process. I'll keep you informed and thank you all so much for your patience!

Since we are close does anybody have any ideas for a stand? I have a guitar stand to try.

We are thinking up a custom wall mount for these if there is interest.

We haven't made the prototype yet, but the idea is that it'd be a wall mount in the same shape as the shield, with an antique bronze finish.
We want to keep it simple to keep the price down.
