Replied. I wanted to clarify that option 2 does not include a strap to sling on your body, only professionally mounted D ring clips.

Some improvements we are making to the items you will be receiving.
During our field test at the WWII weekend, we discovered the gold laminate scratches very easily. We will now be coating it with catalyzed urethane for a more durable surface. Our test of this still retains the gold reflective finish.
Also, the sheen on the face will be bumped up a notch. We adjusted our clear formula to have a little less flattening agent in it. I feel it'll give us a much better product.
After the first four are sold, we can still take orders for more, it'll be a few weeks before we can get supplies in the shop for the next group. After that, expect about 3 to 4 weeks wait time.

Do you sell just the leather handles/strap as a kit? if so, how much? if not, would you consider it?

We're on our third prototype of the strap system. We are implementing a metal armature in the handle to keep it firmly in place when held. Also testing out various padding thicknesses and adding a tougher core to the forearm strap.
This is taking longer than we hoped BUT we want to get it right and not ship until we are confident the strap system meets the expectations of you, the buyer
