I have no plans to cast the blaster itself.

Ok after seeing all of these amazing upgrades I think I'm going to try it. Where are you guys getting the blasters at I regret not jumping on the Japan Hobby pre-order now. Still plenty on ebay fetching $60+ is the the going rate?

For weight what are you all doing? Epoxy and bbs, resin and fishing weights, ect.

I hate to burn up a ton of epoxy...im thinking hot glue and bbs but im worried the hot glue will dry too fast...what has worked for you all?

Was using air-dry clay and threaded rod but that shrunk. So about to switch to Epoxy Sculpt and threaded rod. Should add some weight but probably nowhere near the 1.5kg it should be.

Rustoleum Soft Iron. The metallic is the same gunmetal type flat spray I used on my Iron Giant bolt.

I've painted my water pistol today in Worldcon style. I'm pretty happy with the result. It's resting on my own custom made stand.
I'm not planning on building lights in on this one. I first have to finish my sidkit!
