Chase's Star Wars Vintage Parts Hunting!

My Current Graflex Collection - I Need Help lol

Here are all of my complete flashes in my collection currently! There's just something about the design of these things that I just really love and it's always an exciting day when I get a new one in.

The one on the far lest currently has WannaWanga grips and bubble strip on it. Waiting on the d-ring and some more grips and parts from him and can't wait to start the next one! I'll probably turn the one that already has the tab removed into an ESB version once I get the parts. Going to hold off doing anything to the Folmer base until I have all of the vintage parts needed for a true ANH or ESB build.

Folmer Graflex 3 Cell Flash

This was the first piece of vintage hardware I ever wanted to get my hands on as a kid. So glad I finally found one for a great deal!

Sadly it does have a little bit of rust and scratches and a chip in the "emitter" plastic but it's not in too bad of shape for some that I've seen out there. It's also, unfortunately, missing one of the brass pins on the right side. (If anyone has a spare let me know!)

I would love to hear some feedback and hear how rare this one is as it appears to be one of the early ones without a patent number yet it seems to have a mid-late red button and late folmer glass eye...

If you are still looking for a replacement brass socket pin, The Gralfex Shop has them:

Graflex Smooth Pin

Give them a few hours sitting in a container with ammonia vapor and you’ll have a nice aged patina to them.

Wow I didn’t see that style when I looked before. I ended up just buying a clamp style top that had the correct ones and used those. Thanks though! :)

Aren't there also pins under the red button? Or do yours have square bases?

I've got a baggie FULL of vintage pins lying around here somewhere.

Texas Instruments Exactra 19 and 20 Collection

Here’s my current collection of them so far! Trying to decide which one to use a bubble strip from first...
