I don’t know the ins and outs of your agreement but it sounds to me that if you have payed for the mould’s to be made so you can both profit from this venture (as is Helmets) and what fantastic work you turned out, then it’s clear that he still owns the ORIGINAL Helmet that he inherited from his uncle and you own the moulds you made from it ( payed for from your own pocket ) if your agreement states that any (AS IS) casts are made and sold, then any monies should be devided as per your original agreement.
Now as for the remoulding of the ( AS IS ) cast from YOUR moulds into ANH and Empire ( going off what you posted regarding HIS statement) you have every right to alter that cast into whatever design you wish ( but not as an AS IS to sell for your own profit )
Its clear he owns the original Cast and very clear you own the moulds from that said cast, he cannot profit from your moulds ( he has to make his own moulds ) and you cannot profit from an ( as is cast ) but you can cast an (AS IS helmet) from your moulds and as agreed about modifications, you can profit from them ( modifications )
Its also very clear that interest has slowed down on the (AS IS helmet ) and Greg has seen his ass and noticed that there’s lots of interest in ANH and Empire helmets, now he wants a piece of your hard work. He’s just a greedy little ****** who wants to profit from other people’s hard work,
Also what gives him the right to post on your thread that no more will be made (ANH or Empire helmets inc AS IS ) he’s the one who has broken the trust, he would change his tune if you had an order of 30 ( as is helmets)
And as for threatening you with a 3rd party coming to you family home !! They would have been met with a few of my friends with tickling sticks
I only have one nice thing to say and that is Thank you Greg for allowing Mark to mould your Uncles helmet, you both have made many collectors very happy.
BUT and it’s a very big BUT........ Greg your not even a participating member to this forum you only signed up when the helmets were being made, you don’t contribute by slagging of one the most respected prop builders on this and many many other forums, you need to go away with your Uncle’s Cast and remember your uncle for the hard work he did to receive the helmet in the first place and give Mark the moulds back that he owns so he can carry on with the hard work that he does.
Seems to me Greg you like standing on the shoulders of giants ( your uncle’s and Marks ) to make you money, not any more sunshine ! time to get down and go away.
