Captain America: Civil War

Looks good, one thing I think is strange is that no one seems to realize that Steve and Bucky went through a lot together in WWII so expecting Steve to just turn on the guy is like asking the sun to rise in the west.

However I can also see them setting these guys up for Thanos to show up and then all hell WILL break loose,so this little disagreement will make them stronger and perhaps closer.

I want to see how other characters like Dr.Strange,Daredevil,Luke Cage and the rest will play into this if at all.

Some screen caps of the Black Panther.

Excellent. Thanks. That's a very cool looking helmet-mask-cowl. I expect it will be popping up all over the RPF soon (if it's not here already). And the body of the costume looks good too. The silver accents work and give an African character to the overall look.

Well, the thing is. This movie probably does an real good job showing the difference between nationalism and patriotism.

Cap, being a WW2 vet is a patriot and iron man is a nationalist

Assuming Cap takes the side of patriotism, there's a degree of irony that Iron Patriot takes the nationalist side.
Also ironic that the Iron Man films had Tony as the vigilante operating without limits and refusing to support the government of which at least one member (Senator Garry Shandling) was Hydra. He kind of makes fun of Rhodey for being a government tool. Now he's one.

Also ironic that Thunderbolt Ross is giving a speech to Cap about operating without limits, yet look at his track record with the Hulk and basically going to extremes to try to catch him. Pretty sure that was operating without limits as well.

There seems to be a lot of hypocrisy in this as well as some serious anti-government undertones. Justifiably so considering how the MCU has been playing out.

I'm with Cap on this one.

This just looks kick ass. Also JD the Black Panther helmet has already shown up in the Classified Forum a long time ago and didn't last long. I forget who made it…maybe the Rocketeer.

Why @me? I think you got the wrong person.

I dunno, Cap comes off as a bit of a jerkwad in this trailer to me.
He's my buddy isn't much of a reason for protecting a wanted killer, brainwashing notwithstanding.

Bucky is from his time, grew up with him, fought alongside him, watched him fall to his death, found him again half a century later [brainwashed], fought him, and was later rescue by him.
Versus siding with Stark... a narcissistic ass that he hasn't gotten along very well with from the start, who made the decision to create a sentient robot that almost destroyed humanity, and whose father was trying to move in on his woman. Not to mention he's flipped and now wants to play nice with a government that Cap no longer has any reason to trust since he it was infiltrated at every level by Hydra...

Hmmm... I'd say the choice is easer than you think.

Yeah, Bucky had no choice in his killing, Stark made weapons for profit, he didn't know how bad war was until he watched the soldiers in the "Fun-vee" get killed and got hit by his own bomb. And even still he acted without a higher authority and eventually built Ultron who decided to eradicate humanity after using 40 seconds of the internet. Stark has good intentions but seems to ALWAYS backfire

I'm thinking that, critically, this film might come across as another Cap-is-a-fugitive movie. I hope the brothers have done enough to distinguish this film tonally and structurally from the Winter Soldier.

Well, he exposed Hydra and the government didn't seem to be all that thankful. For one... he hasn't been promoted since 1944. Shouldn't he be Chief of Staff America by now?

Look at the scene where Cap jumps through a window at 1:44. Are we seeing preliminary CG here? Looks to me like he jumps through an empty space that they have just started to add window shards to. If so, I like seeing preliminary stuff like this turn up in trailers. I remember the TRON Legacy early trailer with Sam going through the arcade and you could read the names on a couple games. And, the nameplate on the TRON machine was pristine. Next trailer comes out and the names on the machines have been blown out so you can't read them and the TRON nameplate has been weathered.

THANK YOU!!! I thought that looked weird the first 4 times I watched it.
