By sheer coincidence, I found one in tortoise and ordered it yesterday! I must have bought it the instant the seller listed it, because I received the automatic email that a tracking number had been generated about 90 seconds later!

Okay so these vintage looking style frames are Caddis Eye Appliances "Velma" in turtle with anti-blue light lenses (53□19 142)...

...And yet another one of these often worn limited edition "Cant Stop Good Boy" FU trucker hats, but this time in green...

Nice find gio!! - In any color!!

Depending on the pics you have, you might be able to tell if they are blue or black versions just from the lenses, as in this pic, the blue have gradient lenses...

thanks for your help! I saw that picture on google, but these ones look like a mashup of them, look at the bar… the lenses are gradient, for sure

anyway, my policy is: if you find some waltons, even in pink and teal, if the price isn’t too high you must first get them and then think about it

I definitely think you have the blue versions there!!
I see what you mean about the top bar though.
It may be that the top bar is a very dark blue, darker than the blue frame itself and somehow because it is so dark, appears black.
I've lightened your pic up a bit...

The extreme lightning up of the pic seems to reveal a bit of blue in there, what do you think??

I think those blue are really rare, I've never came across a pair, ever!!

Since they've long been discontinued, it looks like that there's only 2 stock reference pics left out there.

The blue is rather dark and the top bar definitely looks black here.

Lucked into the black and yellow tortoise vintage Sheldrakes... got a good price because they were all stretched out by previous owner's giant melon. That's something I can fix! Mostly done, just needs a bit of small tweaking to fit now. Not bad for $75!

Lettering is mostly worn off, but I think so. They look like the same tortoise as the ones with purple lenses to me. I don't think they made this colorway once they shifted to Italy.
