Well I could watch it in shades and even get platform shoes too... Mrs would enjoy that since I am a perfectly ordinary 5 foot 10 and she is 6 foot 1.

Got my new lenses... they look a lot lighter with the AR coating now. I like it, my eyes are more visible, as seems proper for an RDJ tribute. They are a gradient, though it is quite subtle.

Hey everyone! I recently scored big time on the Stark frames, grabbing a pair of Dior Blacktie 137s in 53, Prada VPS53Es in 135, and Persol 2430s in 55. I know the SA version of the Persols are 58mm (thanks to UV400 for clarifying for me). I was curious if anyone on the thread had any of the 58mm. The ones I got aren’t the right color either, I was planning on stripping the black off of the frames and painting the temples black so they’d be SA, and buying Tanya’s lenses. However, I think I will now hold on to them unless someone has a trade, or wait to find a SA pair and then sell these ones. If anyone is interested, please PM me!

LOL, you outbid my wife trying to get me a present of the Persols! She felt guilty because I took the youngest to a birthday party for a 6 year old so she could go to an amusement park with a friend.

No hard feelings though.... she found a brown pair that's on the way. Same plan in mind when they arrive, though I will have to approximate Tanya's lenses unless she might help out my optician because I just can't go without progressives.
