Can't find Tony Stark's sunglasses from Iron Man 3

Anyone know if rdj gona be in black widow? Or was that just a stupid movie rumour
Reportedly, he was going to make an appearance using recycled unused footage from Civil War, where he is talking to Natasha.
However, I've just looked at the cast list (of 55) for Black Widow on IMDB and alarmingly, RDJ isn't on the list o_O

Black Widow is "last chance saloon" for possibly adding one last and final IM frame to our collections.

Failing that, as a long shot, maybe there's elusive frames hiding in other unused and yet to be seen deleted footage from another IM MCU movie, just waiting to be discovered.

the movie is out here on july 7, I’ll tell you

maybe they cut the rdj cameo so we’ll have to wait for a home release of black widow that will contain in the extras a deleted scene that was a civil war deleted scene to see if we already have that last pair of glasses

Isba arrived today.

Veeerrryyy nice! They look great on, my decision to give the white pair I'd originally ordered to my daughter was absolutely the right choice

UV400,

Love all these presentation boxes...very cool.
Thanks for the kind compliment Bud :D(y)

I suppose they are a form of cataloguing and they give the frames a direct visual reference to the movies and scenes where they appear, whilst providing safe storage too.
Where I can, I like to add an extra movie reference item too, like a 1:43 car etc. (I've just ordered an 8cm metal Eiffel Tower to go in my Warby Parker Cass box!! Lol:lol:).

I found that I prefer to keep the original lenses safely in small clear bags inside of small black velvet pouches (to start off, I ordered a pack of 100x from ebay).
Sometimes the pouches wouldn't fit in just an original frames case that didn't have a box with it, so the custom boxes solve that with plenty of room to keep everything organised and together inside.

I'm slowly going through both my IM & non-IM collection making lens info. laminated labels for each velvet pouch, where custom lenses have replaced the originals...

Uv, not gona lie, the Job you’ve done with all the boxes is amazing, and the presentation is class! But you Gota explain this stuff to me dude, it boggles my head, caus I don’t understand how you’re so good at creating, as the lenses go! Like I know you create them yourself, but where do you get the lenses originally? You speak of ‘donor lenses’, but are they random glasses you bought online that you thought had similar lenses, then you throw the glasses away, but you cut the lenses into shape? Because if that’s the case I commend you sir, patience of a saint

Been pretty successful in the hunt the past couple of months!
OP Jack One
PS Devonshire
Armani 7049
OP Benedict
Prada PR 50VS
OP OP-2
WP Cass 353
Matsuda M3023 57mm

Other than the Matsuda, which I bought new they are mostly good deals, other than the Cass which I had to pay $130 for. The Devonshire were sniped at $15 and the Benedicts were priced at only $30 because of scratched lenses. Doesn't matter to me because they're useless without new prescription lenses anyway.

The Matsudas have been a saga. I ordered in the frames and picked lenses and the lab my opticians use broke the frames! Then they couldn't get new ones for weeks because the supply chain is wonky for everything and when they did get them done they arrived only for the opticians to find the AR coating was left off. So they called me and said to just come in and get them and when the replacement lenses arrive come back and they'll do the swap. In the meantime they haven't charged me and said there's no need to pay them till the glasses are finished!

Thank you for your kind praise dude :D.

My donor lenses are usually bought from AliExpress in "oversize" frames.
I keep the "donor" lenses in their frames in clear packets in my donor lens box, to protect the lenses until they are needed.
I buy "oversize" as they can then be cut down to size. Aliexpress has so many cheap tinted frames, but I think they have the most choice, especially with the very light/subtle tints, which I seem to always need.
Sometimes the lens base curve (curvature of the lens) doesn't match up, which is why I buy so many different cheap "donor lens" frames in lots of colors and curvatures.
Once I've made the lenses I throw away the donor frame. It is very time consuming done by hand and you are right, that it requires patience. Doing this is probably a more meticulous and skilful process than I give myself credit for, but what keeps me going is the price of these donor lens frames - they are only in the $2 to $10 price range, meaning multiple frames needing custom tints is more than affordable.

I try to put customs in the same day as I receive new frames, just to try to keep on top of it all.

I tend not to worry whether the quality of the UV protection is 100% in these cheaper lenses, as the majority of them are really light and (even if they were expensive very light lenses from an Optician) are best suited to indoor wear only anyway. On really sunny days I wear frames with genuine original lenses to be on the safe side, there's no excuse as I'm literally spoilt for choice!!

Nice collection additions!! (y)

...Definitely passed the early stages of addiction and into the unstoppable realm of frame collecting dependency!!!

I promised myself (again) just the other day, that I would rein in my eyewear purchases, the cold turkey lasted a full 24 hours but then I bought 3 more...:lol:
In my defense, they were a bargain!! Lol.

I am your student I buy a used stained glass glider and scrape it. There are few cheap lens options in Japan. I also bought a glider that digs the groove of the sheet metal lens. For Gunner's brown lens.
