Can't find Tony Stark's sunglasses from Iron Man 3

Is it lens distance/choice, optical illusion or what but do those red Matsudas look bigger than the ones here?

I was thinking the same thing, to me the red ones on the photos uv400 posted are not the same he wears in the movie, they look like it’s a 57 size (I have two in 57 and one in 52, I’m pretty sure of this judging on the pictures)

Also I have been saving better quality photos of RDJ in the frames in my ppt slides when I spot a higher DPI or just better pic.
Would you guys like me to post these or has everyone basically already done this? Not going to spam the group but maybe if you have a particular one you'd like let me know and if I have a good shot I'll post it.

Well cool if that officially makes the larger size an RDJ frame even if not an MCU frame.

Wherein the hell did you find those? Have been looking everywhere online for a pair.
I got them on ebay quite a while ago now, but you are right, I still have the TF453 in my saved searches and haven't seen this color for some time.
But, as we've proved on here many times, it's just a case of being in the right place at the right time, with your chances increasing dramatically the more times (and places) per day you look!!

Okay, so now I'm really curious!!
Here's another quite good pic...

And turned level for a better side by side comparison...

Obviously, the red lens M3023 shot is ever so slightly to (his) left and the 2nd pic is almost "square on" to the camera, but the red lenses (deceptively or not) visually, do appear to be slightly fuller in height and width.

You would expect though, that even with both the 52's and 57's sharing the same 16mm bridge width, that the difference between 52's and 57's would be massively "stand out" obvious visually, as that's 10mm in total width difference.

When I wear my 52's, then quickly switch to 57's, in terms of fit, they are literally like chalk and cheese.

Made some revisions to my Matsuda storage...

Matsuda M2002 in a genuine original wooden Matsuda storage box (the screwdriver was just a bit of fun!!)...

Matsuda M3023's in original large size Matsuda presentation box (I know the larger dark blue 57's aren't screen accurate though, lol)...

On the subject of M3023's, here's 2 shots of them that I hadn't previously seen (they're not exactly readily available anyway) that I came across...

Love those shots of RDJ.

Suddenly I want to pair them with my dark blue jacket and blue shirt :)

I think I figured it out. His head's too tall. It's been stretched vertically. Magazine industry photoshop shenanigans perhaps. About 5 or 6%.
Great observation. I think that's it!

I've got the 57s, to be honest I'd rather have the 52s but I didn't actually take the sizing into account when I bought them :)

Nevertheless I love them very much - and will be wearing them with a blue jacket and shirt this very weekend :)

Yeah, I am buying the 57s because I was worried maybe my head was too big for the 52s. Of course I am second guessing myself so one day i may get both!

Apologies, not eyewear but Stark related...

I've ID'ed the aluminium box used for this prop...

With a quick edit...

By no means cheap, but maybe second-hand would provide a great little summer project if you are that way inclined, lol.
You could even do a scaled version, as I believe there are smaller Zarges sizes available.
Apart from sourcing the box itself, (you could just use a cheaper close match) the wooden drinks holder section would be easy to cut out and make (you could always skip the wooden part and just fill it with ice and bottles of beer!!:D) and adding a Stark Industries decal a no brainer.

Now that would make a great centrepiece and steal the show at any barbeque party!! ;)

I can just picture this now at my next sophisticated garden grill soirée, lol

Also, if you require your music done right, then I've ID'ed the boombox from the "Funvee" too...
Actual auctioned prop...

It's a Trutech T350-B boombox. "Back in Black" cd not included!!...

Does the box come with every purchase of 500 million or more?
