The sanfords I love in Silver and that light grey/blue top. They remind me of All Ins.

The OP-40s with that translucent Grey acetate give me strong Dita vibes.

I was thinking of experimenting with rit dye on demo lenses.

Does anyone here have any experience with rit dye and dying lenses?

Okay, Rit dye does work on demo lenses.

And since polycarbonate lenses are naturally UV400, they should be good to go.

I was gifted this cheap pair of beat up Gucci glasses as a joke since I was asked if I had any Gucci pairs but I didn't at the time. They have light scratches all over the frame but aren't too noticeable on camera.

( This is my only Gucci frame)

Oh and inspiration is from his many orange and tort frames

Is it me or do the Carrera champions feel super cheap?

I know there's like 4 iterations of the champions but these light blue ones feel oddly low in quality that they seem almost fake if anything.


Anyone else have the light blue champions?

These are pretty good place holders for the Carrera 1B if you want them.

The Carrera 1B is 61 while these are 59. Pretty cheap if you want a placeholder.

Bernado was my guess also, although the dots are difficult to see, the nose bridge certainly looks right.
I may have to look out for a cheap pair in the months to come. That lens colour is awesome

My Bernado are the matte sandalwood, which I absolutely love. They currently have very light blue lenses. I'm trying to figure if those red lenses would work in them.
Anybody got any thoughts?

Although the Bernardo matte sandalwood will look awesome with light blue or purple, I think red would work, I suppose they'd end up kinda looking like a larger rectangle version of the Oliver Peoples Pierson's (OV5155 1051 taupe tortoise) - showing that a brown frame does work with red lenses...

Sandalwood have been seen in purple worn by RDJ so if you wanted to go accurate, purple works but custom never fails to please. So pick whatever you want

Although at a closer glance they sorta look like Berlutis due to those metal accents. They kinda throw me off.

It's really difficult to say which frames are on the actual image. They're veeerry similar lol
One things for sure, I am loving that purple.
I think the red lens is going my black NDGs. That will look cool.
The Sandalwood Bernado are definitely getting the purple treatment Lol

All this after promising myself "no more spending" once my Prada, Anderson's, Armani, Cortland and Isba come back from the optometrists
