Can't find Tony Stark's sunglasses from Iron Man 3

People who have both the fakesudas and the matsudas in red lenses which tint do you prefer? Are they different at all?

I picked up my Matsuda’s luxury eyesite also with the extra red lenses but felt they made these expensive glasses look very cheap regardless if it was closer to the movie color. So I had Jason make me a more winey darker red. I wear them so I didn’t want them to look like a cheap pair Just my opinion for me here the before and after

I wanted the comparison in color between the fake matsuda lenses and the luxury eyesight lenses cokor wise but that's an interesting color choice. Cool :)

UV took some pictures a while ago, according to the second post the real ones have Luxury Eyesite lenses:

Back in the day, prior to being able to "easily self justify" buying $350 eyewear! - I bought replicas and modified them. It was always literally just a stopgap until eventually obtaining the originals.
I've dug out my early attempts at the M3023's, where I'd strip them down, prep and primer them to paint them in durable auto body paint, to make the shiny black plastic a matt black and sprayed the shiny frames matt too!
lol...jeeees what was I thinking!

Early modded replica alongside real 52mm M3023.

Even with blue coating lol!

I suppose that was the foundation for having the confidence to strip down the more expensive frames and make mods and lenses.

Here's the gold in 52mm from Luxury Eyesite, with their own custom red lenses in....

Also from Luxury Eyesite, the M2002's, with their own "superbowl" custom purple lenses....apologies, but I needed an excuse to post these!
I love wearing these things, smart and sophisticated looking!!

There's not much difference I guess, other than the quality obviously

The fake ones are more of an orange red, while the Matsuda custom red from Lux Eye is a deeper blood red imo. Very different. If you keep on indoors, the fake will tend to be easier on eyes, but outside I definitely prefer the more SA red that Lux Eye did. And as you know, lightning changes the way the color appear regardless.

I have a gold pair of the limited edition ru of the Corsairs that Oliver Peoples did with blood red lenses and I agree they're a little too red indoors. So almost jarring to be honest. Might go a little lighter then. Maybe by 10%

Any comparison shots with all the dita lenses? Tanya, Luxury Eyesite, Jason?

I just want to see everyone's interpretations :)

Very early replica Matsuda's had very light red lenses...

I had some stored in a box and just to use them up, put them in here...

I'm almost sure I used the much deeper red lenses for a lot of mine, from these two ebay donors...

The original Matsuda red lenses from Luxury Eyesite are a tiny bit lighter red than my modified replicas, but my camera doesn't show it too well..

Against the light, it's a bit more noticeable (real pictured 1st)...

Pictured here with my Corsair's for a "red reference!".

I used the same darker red lenses on these replica Police on the left...

For 10 bucks total inc. lenses, they're great for "worry free everyday wear", and I can keep my originals safe.

With prices still on the up across the IM frames collection, my OG IM frames have inadvertently went from a hobby to an investment.

Wearing rare originals outside is becoming a bit of a worry!!

Keeping myself busy with "lockdown lens making", decided I had to go a lot lighter with the Eaton's...

Man those lenses are real easy to get mixed up!! The left and right are virtually identical.

And until getting Tanya's accurate 2 tone lenses, put some even lighter brown than previously in the 2430's just for now...

Also redid the flights left lens after I found a tiny scratch on it. Grrrr!!
