Can't find Tony Stark's sunglasses from Iron Man 3

Everyone please do the white screen polarization test.

My All Ins have splotchy polarization.
Does anyone experience this? Please share your results good and bad for reference.
I have the same things around the corners of the lenses on my 2 pairs. Noticed it watching myself in the mirror...

It wouldn't be that bad if it was only noticeable in front of a screen, but other people with polarized sunglasses, can also see it (if paying a lot of attention), you can try by watching yourself in a mirror, or with a friend and another polarized pair

Could it be the lenses were cut too large and were just squeezed when it was installed into the frame and tightened? Either way, what poor QC.

I really shouldn't have brought it up, in fact I deleted all my posts. I may a harsh critic but I don't like conflict, every time I bring up an issue I get a call and I don't want to breed anymore negativity, in fact I'm now moving to avoid it.

I've gotten discounts, free lenses and he's even helped me out with a person wrongfully selling their products. He's been kind and generous and I have returned it with harsh product criticism.

Jason does have the right to defend his product but the group also has the right to know about these issues whether it be quality control in polarized lenses or changes in the metal formula in the Silver All Ins that has caused rusting in the new batch... Or even the flaking on the coating of the red armored All ins. I know many of you feel the same way on such issues and are pretty quiet. It's always uneasy to bring up product issues. But I don't want anymore conflict. So just like the issue that rose up with people being upset with me posting links to watched ebay items, I will no longer post any product issues with Initium Eyewear and are free to judge the products on your own.

I can’t say I notice much of a difference in quality but the OGs are more comfortable to me because the new guitar pick tips are clunky and need adjusting to be comfortable. OGs were comfortable right out the case. But that’s just personal preference

The old All-Ins are much less susceptible to salt corrosion given multiple accounts from owners owning both.

So here's my "prototype 1" attempt at the SPX Match.
I was getting fed up with the "3 bits of aubergine colored rubber" still in their Silhouette case, mainly because they were just sitting there and not being used.

As I said earlier, there is probably the "definitive" shaped lens out there somewhere, but I'm just experimenting.
The grey lenses I originally intended to use were too dark, but I found these cheap donor's to use.

20200211_155448.png 20200212_090551.png

I liked the very light grey/purple tint, as I think it compliments the purple color of the frame a bit.
The donor lenses are really quite flat too, but are a bit thick. The thickness though (at the risk of involuntary corrective laser eye surgery! Lol to Gotmeth!!)...

..Random prescription Silhouette's..20200122_231533.png
...means it's tighter when the frame plugs are put in, creating more rigidity than my 5521's with blue thinner lenses.

I made them more to suit myself, not only in custom height and width, but in that the top and bottom of the lenses are a lot straighter to "mimic" the straight lined HUD display.

It's only personal preference and IMO they are more angular and masculine this way and less rounded ladies cat eye style - been wearing them all day today!!

As they are just a first attempt and an ongoing process, I've ordered more donor lenses the same color to further experiment and make some more!

Had a go at more "orange" lenses in the 719's too, but I think it's back to the drawing board with those!! They must be somewhere between plum rose red and orange!

I'm sticking with plum for the time being...

Ok, so my Dita Flight recreations just arrived!!

20200211_192934.jpg

I still don't have originals yet:(
Was waiting patiently for a better price until Spiderman FFH came out and prices skyrocketed!!

As a family man, $500 for OG Dita's seemed a lot, especially as I haven't ever paid more than $200 for (1) frame!
I'm only waiting to complete the Stark collection on 006's, Strathmore's and Red Havana's (already pre-ordered).

Even in the abscence of real 006's to directly compare, I have to say these are excellent.

Titanium frames, the correct 52mm dimensions, translucent blue lens holders/surrounds and flash coating on the inside of the lenses.

The blue lenses are admittedly too dark, but they are polarized....I can change these out later.

The quality in feel and weight is there!

On to the case...
Man this case is beautiful.
Quality solid wood feel and correct size/look.
I had expected to swap the hinge for screen accurate and have to felt line it, but it's all already there!..
20200211_193131.jpg
..along with plush felt lining and screen accurate embossed "Stark Industries" card.
The case even has 4 small magnets embedded flush into the wood for that quality closure clasp feel.

Granted the "screen" version is more "antique" and old looking, but for $155 with 006 replicas, this is a total steal!!

No disrespect whatsoever, but if Jason can recreate Bromley's with the 3000's at $359, Indy Magnoli totally deserves recognition and praise for this (and they are titanium! with etched gold nose pads).
Quality work man! Respect!

Those are indeed nice where did you order them from?

Also does recreations of the super rare and super cool OG mega expensive Matsuda M2809H "Nicole" Terminator 2 sunglasses...

So I got a second pair Strathmores, I tried to convince myself not to get them as I don't like clear pairs of glasses but... yeah. I couldn't help it.
